My 2001 TL - Pics

Gentlemen,

Here are some pics of my TL.

Mods are very few.

OEM Kit, Shaved Trunk Lid, and a Comptech Axle Back Exhaust.

More mods are in the works.

Thanks for looking.

Looking good. Agree with Plat, you need a drop and you'll be set. Planning to get some kind of spolier? ( OEM, M5, Wingwest? )

CL Platano & FL3.2TL,

Thank you for the compliments.

It will be dropped very soon on Tein Basics.

FL3.2TL, I will not be adding a spoiler of any sort. I personally believe the 2nd gen TL looks the best wing-less.

Thanks again guys.

Final,

Thanks man. I would like to get rid of the front plate but I will have to get a new bumper cover right? Is there any other way to get rid of the holes other than by doing what I just mentioned?

Rims.....I will do some 18 inch Volk TE-37s as soon as some funds free up. Thanks for looking and for your comments.

vzuptnguyen, thanks.

The trunk looks fuzzy because of the lighting. I will take some pics of it in the light as soon as I get some time. Thanks again.

JPTL-S,

Thank you.

I keep it garaged and never take it out in the winter and rarely in the rain either. I am very anal when it comes to my car.

The shine is also due to the fact that I just had it detailed.

By the way if anyone in the NYC or LI area is looking for a great detailer at a very reasonable price, PM me. I can put you in touch with the right guy.

Thanks again JP.

Very nice. I love the look of the 02-03 tails. If I had an 99-01 TL I'd HAVE to do that conversion as well. It looks really nice with the lip kit and shaved. I'll be shaving mine as well but leaving the A in the middle.

Some light tint, rims, and drop you mentioned will turn that car into a pure headturner. Very nicely done. I'm also in Long Island (Suffok) My guess is you are in Nassau by the pics?

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your comments. Appreciate it.

Yes, I am in Nassau.

No tints for me but a drop and rims will be coming soon.

Maybe we will run into each other one day. Maybe at one of the meets CL Platano's crew puts together.

Your trunk lid will look great w/ just the A emblem.

Thanks again!
