My 01 TL...
So I've been a member for a couple months now and really haven't been that active. I bought a '01 TL for a winter beater and I didn't care about it as much as my IS300, but now I'm starting to slowly fall in love with it. It's not like I abused it or anything but didn't have too much interest until now. Anyways here's a couple pics of my TL.
When I first got her:
A few couple exterior mods: Accord rims, blacked out headlights, Emblems, and taillights
First photo shoot this season:
And how she sits now:
I know the blue brakes my look " ricey " but I like the contrast lol, and once I get a nice set of rims, I'm going to paint them black or silver and make the wheels flush.
Upcoming mods: Type S engine swap with 6-speed tranny.
Let me know what you think.

no problem take care of your tl dude... question about your taillights where those the stock all red ones and you just added the tint or the lights with the clear top?? thanks

They were the ugly red and yellow tails. I used VHT niteshade, and a three stage polishing process for a glossy finsh. Unlike most people who disagree with using VHT, it's because they either Do it wrong or they don't know how to apply it to make it glossy.

Well for the VHT niteshade, it depends where you live. Most likely your local auto store would have some in stock ( Haven't seen any Autozone or Advance auto that had them in stock, if you know what those places are lol ) but if you can't find any in stores, you can order it online. I use to work for a detailing company that had these polishing creams that I used. Blue cut (10,000grit polish), Black cherry ( a black and red paint polisher ) and this sealant stuff I forgot what it was called. I used to tint tail lights for them. Let me know if you would like to see some more pics.

Looking good man! I love the drop, even if it's just on springs
I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have in store for it!

These are cell phone pics so bare with me.
I even did this guys headlights once, you can't tell but I tinted around the projector In a L shape. My process of doing it worked so good, the tint matched the cars paint..

Damn those tails on the G37xS look HAWT!
#33
Yup, it will look good with any shade as long as you either clear coat them or polish them.

It all depends where you live. Some places here sell them at local supermarkets lol.
