Moar low is the term??

So I finally got tired of looking at the wheel gap on my car and got some F2 type 1s. Got them brand new and installed them the same day.

I had to raise them from the setting that comes from the factory. I deffenitely have to get used to riding this low, never have so im still driving paranoid.

Question for you ff type 1 pro's, I feel like my ride is bouncy. Is this normal? Can I adjust something to make it a bit stiffer I guess.
Thanks for the help and enjoy a couple of pics. Nothing special.

adjust your preloads, that'll be the only way it'll get stiffer. i had a .5 inch of preload on all sides, pretty stiff but kept me from bottoming out all the time.

Bouncy as in........? If you tighten your preloads as Henry suggested you personally will bounce more inside the cabin, but your car will not bounce as much.

I'll have to play with that then. Well it's bouncy in the cabin but I feel like the car bounced more overall when at highway speeds. Maybe its me having to get used to it.
Are they supposed to be stiff from te factory?

did you adjust your height from the springs or the shock body..

if you moved the 2 plates that the spring rest on, that would explain the bounciness.

my car was lowered strictly using the shock body (as recommended by F2) and my ride is pretty damn stiff...

Yeah I can go lower, but im ok with this height for now. I just have to iron out the bouncy ride.

I did not touch the 2 plates closest to the spring, I loosened the lower one and adjusted that way. The way I adjusted the height was by twisting the gold part that is threaded. Did I do it wrong?

Looks great! Kinda naked without the kit or flaps. Question for you, are your headlights aftermarket cleared?

wait till the coils settle before making any changes to preloads. see if your problem still persists. i honestly think its just because you are not used to them.

Looks really clean. The coils will become more comfortable after a week or two, let them break in.
