Minor Update

..drove down to Rajca's crib earlier today around 5pm to clear my lights. With a couple minor bumps here and there.. we finished!! There were slight gaps in one of the casings which we thought would cause moisture, but after driving home in the cold+snow for about an hr.. no moisture!! Thanks again Tom! ..I'll buy you lunch sometime for all your hard work!

Didn't take us long to clear them.. the hardest part was R&I everything. Pics will be up in a sec..

D'OH!!!! ..guess I spoke too soon! My passenger-side casing is fogging up.. damn, this sucks! ..lols, anyways.. me and Tom are gonna re-bake + seal them tomorrow morning. And to those that think this is a hard mod, it rly isn't.. just take your time with it. That's why + how my passenger-side casing is fogged up. Didn't leave the passenger-side casing in the oven long enough before prying apart the casings.. I'm pretty sure that's where we made our mistake as it probably didn't re-seal correctly when we re-baked them. Anyways, heres your pics Donald.. Ionno wtf is up with my digi.. I turned down the ISO setting and its still grainy as hell. I even had it set on "Auto" and its still doing it.. ugh, whatevers.. you get the picture.

** Towels are over my passenger-side casing to prevent further moisture until I'm able to re-bake + seal them tomorrow morning. >_<

No need to re-apply more sealant. As long as you bake it long enough, you'll be able to re-use the factory sealant. It worked perfectly on my drivers-side.

its not about who could do it faster, its about how it looks when its done and if it leaks or not.

my brother, all my friend's, and i have never had front plates on any of our cars in the last 10 year's...not once have any of us ever recieved anything more than a "warning" for no front plate.

my brother and i live in lake county, my friends live in cook county.

its a B.S. law that they have a hard time enforcing, so they usually don't....just like tinted windows.

back on topic....i need to clear my headlights soon, but i dont have a oven to use....i thought about using a heat gun from work, but ive read it sucks that way.

Nice pics ill*TL. Your ride looks exactly like mines(minus the tint). I love the way the cleared headlight looks on the WDP's.
