Hey guys,

I just got my car back yesterday after 3 weeks of being in the shop after a woman decided to hit me. After my body shop gave me a pretty solid detailing job, I decided to take some pictures. Therefore, I figured I'd share. And for the record, I know I need a drop, but the car is leased and I really don't want to mess with the springs. That, and the fact that I drive through Manhattan every single day of my life.
Enjoy! Any questions just ask...

You met me at the meet Mike, does it really look like I'm in the Mafia?

The 7 Series belongs to my mom. I think it's been washed 3 times in the 3 years that she's had it.

And Aaronnn, I do go to NYU, I'm a first-year. The school is alright, but if you have any questions about it just let me know and I'd be glad to help you.

Very nice bro. I'm with you about the drop. I just put my body kit on and don't plan to drop.

Yeah seriously, I drive down 6th Avenue every single day to get into the Village and that's honestly like a rollercoaster. On every single block (no exaggeration) there is just an up-and-down hill. When I had another set of rims on the car they would rub nonstop. I just can't have that, as much as I think the car would look nicer with them.

You guys in Canada and the South have no mercy for us with the potholes! I've heard horror stories of people from the Tristate area with springs!

I can't, I get out of the Tunnel, take Church Street down until I hit 6th Avenue, then make the right on West 4th Street. It's either 6th Avenue or just go completely out of the way. Just can't take that risk.

Try driving up Fulton St. in Brooklyn......it looks like land mines went off in the street. You have to drive in on coming traffic to avoid them. Thats why I don't ride on the chrome any more.

I used to live right by Woodhull Hosp. Flushing has always been bad, they tore it up worse now. I bounce around through there with my work Explorer, but not with the TL.

Good thing I don't listen to you guys about the dropping!

I was getting onto the Prospect Expressway, and if anyone knows that road coming from Manhattan, when you get onto it there's about 40 potholes. Yup, well one of the potholes slashed up my entire tire and I have to get it replaced now. I got a donut on there right now.

By the way, does anyone know a registered Toyo Tire dealer in the five boroughs? I want to get this fixed ASAP. Thanks.

That stinks bro.

I don't know about "Registered Toyo Dealer" but for my previous car, I bought my Toyo's at Illusions on Queens Blvd.

Yeah, too bad that Toyos have to be specially ordered and to make matters worse, no one could get the tires for me before Tuesday because Toyo is closed on the weekends. Things just keep getting better and better by the minute.
