x2 on smaller rims and dropping it.

You can black out your headlights for cheap also.

Before I opened this thread and read the title, I said to myself, "This is going to be awful". It's not awful but you need to change the rims and drop it more. Not my style tho.

Good start. I recommend that you dont black out your turn signals and just open your headlights and paint the housings black. I had my turn signals blacked out and it looks like shit tbh. Do it right the first time. Also, Im not a fan of chome B pillars but if you're going to chrome the back strip on the rear window, do the B pillars also. Good luck with ur car

I think you can pull off the 20" looks if you remove the chrome inserts from the rims and put some tire gel to match the shine of the rims and car more.

Is this your mom's car? Since the title says "Ma TL on 20's" don't you mean "Ma's TL on 20's" or do you you mean "My TL on 20s"?

Anyway...

I agree with the majority of the above. Change the wheels up. The tranny will hate you and die on you since the wheels are heavier than it would like.

18" would be ideal for your car and if you did all black wheel with a black lip, and black out the headlights it will look dope.

add oem visors, fix your exhaust tips, black out headlights and lower another 1". than your car will look like most tl's in japan.

your car doesn't look bad. just needs more work.

I like the black wheel and black lip look. If you kept that it would look hot or get an all black wheel or even gunmetal.

Def blackout/clear the headlights though.

@ the rims. Change up the rims and you got a baller car. + drop and visors. Maybe even black out the chrome trim too.

Wheels are just too big, looks lifted even though its lowered. Stick with a 18 or 19

First of all welcome! I see you don't have many posts.

Try to get a theme going for your car and then buy parts depending on an overall look you want. The wheels are a little too "donkish" for my taste. Yes I had 20s on my 04 TL, but those wheels look like they belong on a Cutlass or something, especially with the chrome strip on them. Get some 18's or 19's, they will look much better with the drop

yes, but the opinion of an entire community of people who drive the exact same car usually doesnt point you in the wrong direction

we may not all agree on everything but there is a general feel of what looks good here and we can usually come to some sort of agreement on what looks terrible or nice...

sometimes what YOU think looks good only appeals to you and a few around you. why not have the input of many others who are driving the same vehicle?

i would build a TL from the ground up based on this forums opinions and i guarantee it would look nice to say the least

an example of things i liked, with feedback from this community.. created this car basically.
i cant complain.

i just feel that people should buy things that they like for their car..not what others do..

No, it doesn't.

i think it would look better with an oem kit...that doesn't mean he should go run out and buy one...it's his car, not mine.

That is a Honda Saber grill.

Honda Saber/Inspire = Acura TL

He took the H out and custom fit an A.

The 02-03 Saber grill is hard to find unless you know the right person ::cough cough:: jjashaa.

I would love to sell em but I dont have any other wheels to roll to work on lol. If you have some standard acura rims with ok tires id be willing to sell.

I don't think the car looks too bad. I would take the chrome inserts out if you can and paint them black, then the car would have a nice overall look. Not too shabby for 20's.
