well i want to go with 2 12's or 4 10's. I have to get rid of the 15's before i do that. All electronics are ok after the water damage, just all the wood got runied.

currently i have 2 kicker L7 10's in a ported box, with a JBL 1200 watt amp. I will post picts later. Its a ok system but i got so used to the 15's that I want more.

what sucks is that the whole trunk was stripped to do that first install so i dont have much to work with. its all sheet metal and dynomat. i guess i will have to take my hand at fiberglass

there was a small leak in the trunk seal, when facing the trunk, both rear corners had a smalll leak. also one of the tubes from the sunroof drain was lose, also causing a leak. im still not too sure if its not gonna leak again. its too cold to do more testing.

There are much better subs out there, check around. MTX is the "in"/"popular" thing., but not even close to the best. Check out Image Dynamics for value (quality/cost). There are others as well...do a little research. Good luck

All Zapco amps and speakers running active...dc650.6 runs a three way front stage (6.5'', 4'', and tweet) and dc1000.4 runs the two 10'' subs. Zapco isn't well known by the general public, but in the car audio competition arena they are consistetly a top performer. www.zapco.com

you guys wanna laugh at mine....

04 mdx cargo net ftw

...in theory it is a real clean install as there are 2 amps mounted to a piece of wood that is attached to my back seat which is completely hidden... these subs were supposed to be temporary b/c i got them for free (hence why they were never held down) but i never bought new ones so thats still my trunk setup haha... they dont move though and i have a good amount of trunk space though

the only thing i can think of in ur situation is someone pierced ur spare tire well or trunk floor with a ground wire or something. because if ur trunk didnt leak stock....after putting stereo equipment in it and custom panels shouldnt make a leak. ur installer must have pierced it with something.
