LED interior pics
Hey guys i finished all my LEDs a little while ago and just thought i'd finally post. Its mostly white LED's, but since the gauges are blueish, i did a mixture of colors. looks better in person than pics. my camera isnt that great. But tell me what u think. (PS. some of the pics are older when not all the LED's are installed yet)

The circles around the volume knobs and around the A/C knobs are blue, except for the white LEDs in the A/C knob notches. The blue circles match with the lettering on the circular gauges and the rest of the LED's are white all over. I bought them off ebay. I think theres a total of 50-60 of them throughout the dash. Lots of work, but looks awesome.
Mostly 3mm LED's except for the blue ones which are 5mm. ill post some clearer pics if my camera can take them.
Thanks for the comments guys.

the blue around the a/c knobs and stereo knobs are 5mm led (which are really hard to fit) or u can use 3mm ones which are smaller and an easier choice. i just didnt have any. the rest are 3mm too. Thanks for the comments guys.

Sign up with photobucket.com or imageshack, create an account, post pictures on their server, copy image tags, paste image tags on your post, click preview and you should have pictures. Read this thread for more info. BTW, that little blurp on the bottom about not posting attachments does not refer to posting pictures.
hey guys i posted some more pics of the LED's when its dark at night. can someone please post them on this forum. I put them on imagestation again. Thanks

Thanks guys. It looks even better in person, i wish i had a clearer camera.
haha. yah i wish i had a screen. Im either thinkin of buying OEM navi or installing a foldout screen in that CD tray above the Deck.
installing LED's is relatively easy and cheap. just alot of work. And you have to angle them properly to eliminate dark spots. Some places i have two LEDs sautered into one resistor and facing opposite ways....its the only way to make them look good.

i am almost done.
how did you get the red on the temp control?.
LEDs dont get hot at all. they run very cool and dont start fading when u turn ur subs up either. No it doesnt get hot at all.
The red on the temp control is actually a red LED right behind the red part only. i seprated the lighting by black tape, so the red only shines in that one certian area. I have a blue one on the other side which is brighter blue, and then darker blue around the rest of the circle.

Shiffy: ill come if you make ticket arrangements.
Those kits are preety expensive, dont know if they're worth it. I have two of those boxes attached to my gauges, one for the outer two, and one for the middle gauge (set on half power). I had only one box before and they were so dim, now they're soo bright, they're just as bright as the LEDs and look 100 times beter.

The trick is to rest you hands and/or camera on something and take the picture. Steady those it.
You can also try changing your exposer timeing (if the camera has that function) to less then zero...(maybe -2). ***try putting the camera on your center armrest and take the picture***
hope this helps and let me know if it worked or not.
