Hey Don't Forget We Have A Date!

Hey OntairoTL those gauges look insane. I'm still look'n forward to coming to London within the next month to get dire gauges done. I'm still looking for a 2000+ cluster so don't worry I'm working on it and if you see any avaiable just msn me and let me know the details.

No DIY yet. Sorry

I've been pretty busy lately. I have a few LED/Cluster installs lined up this weekend. I have to take more pics so I can piece together a complete DIY. I started on one, but have revised a few things since then, so I need to start over again. Patience!!!!

Well I updated my dash completely...new leds (brighter) and a few new experiments. This is the final conversion for my dash, oh wait....oh yeah the last will be when I install my fogs and install the switch for it Again the camera doesn't pick up the dark blue it comes out as a light blue. You have to see it in person. I'm very curious to try someones car in red someday...

I just have the power window LEDs to update but I'll wait until its warmer out.

On to my next project(s)

LOL! Fair enough! I didnt realise how hard it is to sit in front of a computer and write up a DIY and sort through plenty of picture to assemble for the DIY.

Good job on yours!!

Neat touch with the red on the radio. I think green would look good as well (thats what I want).

EDIT: What did tnt7 do for the whole day while at your place?

tnt7 brought his laptop and connected to my wireless internet while I did the job. He's coming back Saturday to finish off the rest.

SICK, Now is it me or are those LED's in our 2nd Gen TL's cluster just wayyyyy tooo bright for our model TL, bright to the point where its overly lit and kinda harsh to the eyes.... Cuz in a newer model TL 3rd Gen, the LED cluster is nicely lit and not overly bright but obviously thats a brand new car. IDK, what do u all think?

k.. first of all.. they are NOT too bright... in fact.. they make the car look like a brand new car.. and i dunno what the hell ur talkin about when it comes to a "brand new car look" .... it doesn't matter... as long as the gauge looks nice.. it doesn't matter if the car is New or not... i would post pics but i'm waiting for my camera so will post soon.. it looks so much better in person...

2nd... the DIMMER WORKS... and it works to the point where u can make it just as bright or even dimmer then the factory look.... during the day.. this thing looks SICK.. during the night.. it looks AMAZING!!... everyone asks about the cluster when they get in the car.... (who are into cars) ... thats my 2 cents...

i love it.. worth every penny... OntarioTL did a great job and now i can't wait til the rest of my dash is done up....

oh , u can also customize the look through ONtarioTL.. so it doesn't have to be white/blue etc....

i'm gonna do a custom tint job on the cluster since the gauges are now bright enough to be seen during the day.... it should make my "stealth cluster" work perfectly....

see, one thing u guys have to know is.. the dimmer is there for a reason... cuz some ppl like it bright and some people don't so as long as ur dimmer works.... the gauges will suit u perfectly fine!

Nice job! ...i'm in the process of installing reverse glow gauges but sadly the ones I got from ebay are shoddy quality. i like the look but unfortunately they don't glow completely esp. the tach. Also I have a 99 TL and it appears the seller lied w/ he said they'd fit a 99 b/c the gears don't seem to line up. Where's you get yours from (the first attempt MPH). I am mistaken or did you cut out the gear rectangles b/c they don't line u? ... i had to do the same. Holla ~shAC-man. I'll try to post some pics.
