I love snow..
Decided to take advantage of the snow day here in MD.
My attempt at HDR:
Still need to grasp the HDR technique.. Also, my current camera doesn't shoot RAW images so I worked with jpegs. Getting my DSLR soon, so i'm gonna have more practice .

Thanks for all the comments guys The day I took these pics it started snowing and I was coming home from work so i figured I may as well snap some pics since I don't intend on driving it through all this salt and crap.
Thank you, they are LM replicas.
Hmm, gonna have to give that a try. What exactly can you do extra in that program?
On my bed
Well, im gonna keep them on but not gonna drive when its shitty out. My OEM wheels are bald so I cant really swap them.
HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. In a nut shell, you take several pictures of the exact same frame, with each frame being from a dark exposure to a light exposure, and then you combine all the pictures together. In my picture, that is 5 pictures combined together. This allows a photo to have detail in the darkest and lightest parts of the picture, unlike a single photo of normal exposure wont have that detail.
Raw images are good in the sense that there is a naturally wider dynamic range in this formal, so that means the colors are more true to a life color set. Also, you can really adjust alot of stuff such as white balance, sharpness, and contrast before formating it to JPEG. Now, JPEGS are a "standard" you can say, its high compression allows for smaller files.. due to this image data is lost. Each has their pros and cons. So if my camera shot RAW, my HDR picture woulda looked a whole lot better since more image data woulda been captured.

also try Dynamic HDR for your photos. there are more options than Photomatix IMO.

Yo great pics, but dud you got to learn to use the crop tool. Hey if you screw up on framing with the camera to bea afraid to crop. Crops would make some of those photos look ten times better.

Thanks for all the replies guys
I know how to use it, just didn't really apply it to these photos. I have some cropped to use as my desktop background and I agree that it does make some pics look better.
