I forgot how much I loved using Zaino!!!

Sheesh, all day cleaning my car and using Mothers Wax on my good ol' 99 TL. What a chore!! I forgot how much I love Zaino and how easy it is......I'm going to order the package again once I'm done posting here.

Anyways, I haven't really posted much on my car at all here. Not that its a TL that will stand out from other modded TL's, I worked hard to keep her clean and I think my reward is to share some pics of her today. Enjoy

July/05 Freak rain storm (notice the wipers on?) and accidents will happen... at least my CL-S rims and new tires I just put on survived

April 26/06 Back to normal and waxed up, Skirt kit installed, got it painted for free when bodyshop repaired my car

I think I'm going to clear out my headlights and paint the chrome SS finish......

Spoiler finally installed as well as 02/03 Tailights. Removed the old muffler tips and put on some SS tips. Oh and if anyone wants a Hidden Hitch when I get it removed let me know. Just come and pick it up. I tried removing it today, but the bolts need to be cut off

My interior is pretty much complete now with LED's and Glow gauges. I'm going to change the heated seat switch lights to RED for high and Yellow for low setting.

One of my many next projects.....Projector Fogs with the possibilty of yellow HIDs, but for now xenon Yellow bulbs. Not bad for $29 CDN. Going to mount them in the spot where there should be fogs.

So along with my fogs, many other projects are on the go. Replacing all rotors, install SS lines with Legend dual piston calipers and Satisfied Ceramic Pro pads, replacing the butt heated seat element on the driver side, maybe a few more leds installed (heated seat temp settings), paint the calipers, and replace the front struts......I think I have enough going for the summer!!!

Oh and back to the Zaino luvin. Pic of me reflecting after Zaino on my 300M.....until some bastard flatbeded it and screwed off with it. Jokes on them though, my evaporator just went on it...no A/C!

Thought about dropping, but with winter, a must have with winter tires, and besides the roads really suck here. Even with the height as a 4X4, the front skirt still managed to scrape the road when I left a McD's here....and that was in the winter time no less.
The Zaino package is available on the canadian site. Dunno if there is one on the American site. Probably is though.....

Congrats on the nice lookin' car. Props on your mods.

As for your 300M ... someon stole it in London? Guess the Maple Leafs license plate frame was too good to pass up. (I am saying this in a sarcastic tone since I am a Red Wings fan). One thing I will agree with you on -- Zaino is the best stuff I have ever used. People think my dirty car is clean with the Zaino that is still left on my paint since November (plus a quick wash with Zaino soap last week ... but it's rained a couple times since then here).

PS Zaino is easy to apply -- visit zainobros.com to read instructions. Way easier than most products out there.

Zaino is great stuff. Just a lengthy process for the first application. Dawn the car, clay bar, then a few coats of zaino.
The nice thing is that Zaino is easy to apply and wipes off nice. You dont apply too much and it goes a long way. Apply as many coats as you want, but just not too many in one day (according to Zaino).

Actually Zaino has some new stuff that is a swirl remover. This stuff needs to be put on before Zaino as it will remove it.

The 300M has its pluses and minues. The ride is smooth compared to the TL which is tight and exactly how its designed. Yes the 300 is a boat, but it still had some kick with few mods.....I would know. Plus it had a few more cool gadgets like the EVIC (basically information center). Oh and 60/40 rear seats.
Minus was it was a hog on gas. Mine had a leak and the carpet on the drivers side was soaked. Evaporators go bad on them, which require the whole dash to be removed to get to it. And my steering wheel was melting.

Yeah I'm expecting that. Read many things about it but haven't seen any pics to discourage me. I've done things that didnt seem possible, so I do like a challenge.

I havent installed them yet as I just picked them up at a auto parts place here in their surplus isle for 29 bucks CDN. The lens are glass so they arent cheap. They take a 894 bulb and I did find an HID set for 894 in yellow. But for now, just going with yellow xenon Texon style.
Once I install them (in a week or two, I have my fog switch now) I will post some pics.
Was thinking about buying another set for back up, and if anyone else was interested in picking them up, I would buy them and ship em out. Of course they'd need to re-emburse my costs. Thats if I decide to go out of my way. But we'll see how my install goes first.

LED Update

Well today finally I got around to working on the heated seat button. I wanted to put red for high and yellow for low. Here is a couple of a pics of the resutls. The yellow still kinda comes out as orange but still better than the original bulb. Sorry pics aren't that sharp, I was in a hurry.
Now just to replace the bum heater element for the drivers side.

When is the next meet? I'm hoping to have a few more suprises in store before then.
Oh yeah, I finally replaced my heated seat element for the bottom driver seat. That was fun!!! Had to lug my seat up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment and back down when I was done.

My insurance paid about 5K Cdn.

Talking Forgive me, its dirty

Ok, its dirty but I thought I would post a couple of pics of my rims installed today. Definately going to drop her, replacing both struts and springs. Then comes caliper, and new rotors.
