How we roll in the O.C.

Been a long time, some updated pics. Yeah I know... car is dirty, but eh...

I took my car to Mr. Heeltoe and had him do a few things. First thing was to drop the car from a 2 finger gap to a 1 finger gap; he also installed a front camber kit for me. (Already had rears installed previously)

Before: (2 Finger Gap)

After: (1 Finger Gap)

Mr. Heeltoe also installed Drilled Slotted Rotors and brake pads on all four corners.

And. Here's a pic of the New 3 bolt DC sports header installed. I did the install myself... and let me tell you.. putting in the rear manifolds is hell.

Thats it for now... the next time I post pics.. the Racing Harts will probably be either Gold or Bronze...

Everyone in the O.C. should hit up Marcus (Mr. Heeltoe) for their auto work. I got qouted like $290 to just replace the rotors and the brake pads at most places around here. (And thats with me bringing my own parts!) Marcus adjusted my ride height, installed the camber kit, installed rotors and pads in all four corners for $300ish. Good man.

Anyway, thought it'd be cool if other ppl in the O.C. posted pics of their rides. Seen quite a few while cruising in Huntington Beach an Irvine. So if you ride in the O.C. lets see them pics.

Sweet whiP!!! Mr. Heeltoe is the bomb! Did you purchase the camber kit, rotors and pads through him as well? I'm gonna need to do this soon too. Also, are you going to need an alignment done again after lowering more? Keep up the great work!

Nah, that just draws attention to the fact that he is sans a BBK.

Are those rotors on the incorrect sides? Their drills go in the opposite direction that they are supposed to...

The rotors should have an arrow cast into them showing direction to install
RacingBrake rotors are reverse of most designs and work amazing!!
Marcus rocks~

Installing the camber kit mandates an alignment: now that you can actually adjust something besides toe

Thanks man. And no, no resonance at all. I used to have the older DC headers (2 bolt flange) and I couldn't get them to seal properly. But these 3 bolt headers fixed that issue.

They're great. I stand behind them 100%. They are the best headers on the Market for the 2nd Gen TL-s, second only to Comptech's.

Yeah, I thought that too. But I'm not second guessing Mr. Heeltoe on his installs.

Yup. Got that done this morning. Life time Alignment, so I didn't have to pay!

Hmm. I'm pretty sure the center caps on my wheels are the Racing Hart CR caps. Maybe they look similar to the Hiros?

And thanks for all the positive remarks. Makes me happy to see that ppl still appreciate the 2nd gen. Hopefully, this final year with her will be a good one.

Are you going to take off the headers when you smog of what?

Being in CA is what is stopping me from doing most of the mods I want, I don't really want to deal with having to take most things off to smog it.

Man last I checked most DC headers that are made are carb legal in all 50 states, so you wont get harrassed.

I could be wrong on this though and maybe they have it legal for most civics and integras only.

Wow this thread has revived from the dead. Almost 3 years ago.

To answer the questions:

1. I sold the DC headers - right after I sold them I realized they were cleared to be 50 state carb legal and the buyer actually got a carb sticker for them.

2. I'm still using the 2nd Gen TL-S as a daily driver . I have an itch for a new car, but since I'm out of grad school now and have student loan payments, not having car payments is a god send.

3. Ninjai - yeah my 2nd Gen TL-S is pretty easy to spot and I'm since I live in the O.C. I get spotted pretty easily.

The only other 2nd Gen TL-S I see often is this ABP one with gunmetal or black wheels.
