got my new tips, need opinons

well they came in the mail today and i installed them asap. only there not a small as i thought and they seem to stick out like the old ones, there pushed as far back as they can go. overall i like the rolled edge much better but not sure if its sticking hurts the look. they are 9" long, should i have looked for 8"?
what do you think, yay or nay?

and yes i know my car is dirty

I personally would have looked for 8 inch tips. They do stick out a bit, but its not horrible. Better than the last ones

so now the question is, where can i find some 8" ones? autozone and places have different sizes but they are about 25 each. should i just save up for some axlebacks maybee, or not worry about it and work on the rest of the car for now lol

It's not that bad. I know everyone is hounding you to get the kit, but your signature says you're going to lower the car first. Once you lower the car, it will make it look better too. I think just looks a little awkward and stands out cuz the car is on stock suspension with no kit.

They just do not look right without a rear lip. Without the lip they stick out way to much. I would run OEM tips without a lip and those tips once the lip is on.

The look 10x better than the last set. I agree with everyone else, once you get a rear lip it would look alot better. Start doing other mods, the tips are minor. Work on suspension and go from there.

I have the same tips and mine stick out even though I have the OEM kit. I also found that if you paint from where the taper starts to where it meets the muffler, they look much better and are a lot more subtle. I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow to show you what I mean.

These are the same ones I have. They don't stick out past the outside edge of the OEM kit. Mine are a couple millimeters inside from being exactly flush with the kit.
