Got it 50% lowered

Ok, yesterday I was at a small car meet with 5 people. It was pretty fun, although i wish more people have shown up. Anyways, we had little projects going on the whole day. Lowered SuperTrooper169 CL-S, Zasker1 installing rotora rear rotors on his TSX, Laxdog3421 installed a Injen CAI on his TSX and also thanks littletruong for his help.

When it was my turn to get my shocks and springs installed, we ran into problems. Long story short....we only lowered the front of my car. While we were trying to get the endlink off the hex was stripped, so we can't get the bolt off or tighten it up. Pretty much the bolt on endlink was threaded half way and won't budge at all. Now I need to wait till Monday for Acura to open so i can get a new endlink and get the car professionally installed in the rear.

Oh yea, thats not the end of my problems. Once i got to Zasker1's house i noticed my rear tire was flat. Took it down to Discount Tires to get it repaired, but didn't noticed that they installed the tire backwards till i got back to Zasker's house. By the time i noticed they were closed.

Heres some quick snaps i took this afternoon. I'll take some better ones when i get everything done.

Lowered on Tein H Tech springs and KYB GR-2 Shocks

This is the rear with stock set up.

nice, but you guys dont have to have pull the endlinks.... all you have to do is take the nuts off up top, then the bolt holding the strut to the fork, and the bolt holding the fork to the LCA, and done... mine took all day cuz everything was seized

for the rears only the nuts up top and one bolt underneath

looks good though, we're both only lowered up front now lol

^^ lol yea i just checked out your thread. The front was easy we had no problems there beside taking off the bolt on top of the shock...that hex was also stripped, so ending up we drilled through the bolt...lol

The rear endlink was the one that we stripped trying to get off. Even though if i can still get the car lowered without taking off the endlink, i'm still going to get it professionally done so i can replace that rear stripped endlink. Don't want to deal with it myself anymore it's 113 outside and too much scrapes and cuts from doing the other guys CL and my car...lol

The car looks great....the Type S wheels really set off the look. Can't wait to see more pictures when the rear is lowered.

Props to you guys for your effort. Looks like we have two shopping cart cars on our boards haha >). I'm sure you guys will be satisfied even more when it's lowered in the rear. =)
