Alright, the cat's in place with new bolts to make the next install a breeze; just need one more gasket and everything's complete.

To do list:
Exhaust
Tint
OEM Kit
Rims

Dremel....
straight saw....
A sharp Carpet Layer's Blade would slice right through that!

Started doing the Foglamp housing openings... also started taking out the transmission.. that's right.. I'm doing a tranny swap for anouther. Got a good deal from a supplier down in Texas, the tranny's on its way. I received the transmission along with a 2-year warranty: covers parts and labor, unlimited miles. I checked with Chris about doing the swap, so far so good. I'll update you guys on my progress along with pics later on this weekend.

For the dremel, which accessory bit would give a clean cut to fit the lamps? Any suggestions are helpful.

Wasn't hard to do at all.. went to home depot, bought:
Concrete/Aluminum mesh - $7.39
JB Welds Compound/Glue - $1.49 (for the emblem.. shit's awesome! lol)
Went ahead and took apart the grille, outlined the inner part of the grill over the mesh with a sharpie marker, cut out the mesh, and then cut it down more to make sure it's able to fit perfectly. You'll have to use a little strength to hold eveything together while screwing everything back together again, and then presto! after 30 mins of work, you got yourself a $8.88 mod. lol

Can you post a picture of the bit you're talking about so I have an idea of what to look for? Thanks!

Also, does anyone know the link to the DIY to take off the front bumper? I've been searching and stumbled on a DIY for the TL bumper (some dude showing how to take it off his black TL)a long while back, but I can't find the DIY again, can anyone post the link for me of one?

it's really simple. just look at the bumper and you'll know what to remove. there are the 2 screws located in each wheel well. then the clips that line the top and bottom of the bumper. once they're all removed, just pop the sides out and pull away from the front of the car.

As of 8:16 AM, the bumper's been removed...

Cut out the holes.. it looks even cooler now

The back..

Question! The bulbs, can I use the 9006/HB4 bulbs for the fog lamps or would that be too bright? Other than that, what other suggestions do you have?

Does anyone know the part # for the wiring harness of the fog lights? ('02-'03 TL) If I could figure that out, I'll be able to splice a few wires and add on a toggle switch for these bulbs

Don't have my friend's camera on me so I posted these on here to back-track incase I do something wrong, other than that if anyone spots out anything, usually i get suggestions that help. That's pretty much it really.

Did you find the part number for the wire harness on the (2002-2003) TL fogs? I'm looking to install fogs in my car too but I dont know how to or where to get the wiring to get them to work. I was thinking about doing HIDs in the fogs but I dont know how to wire them up. A fellow Zine member on here told me to get a fog light wiring kit from Walmart. I went there but it didn't look right to me. It looked cheap and like the bulbs would burn out the wiring so I'm stuck in this spot and dont know what direction to go in. Please Help us peeps......

^^^ Here's what you supposedly need:

For the Fog light bulb, This is what it looks like:

Part# 33116-S84-A01 BULB (HB4) (12V 51W)

This is the bulb you can find at walmart, get the Sylvania's since they'll be bright/white enough.. a pair should be no more than $17.99 or so. They're worth it.

As for the wiring harness, I'll look that up later on today when I wake up again.

What I did was I went ahead and got the 9006 bulbs and went to autozone to get the sockets for those bulbs for $3. They're pretty bright, but I'm going to be finishing these fogs today.. I'm going to use silicone chalk to make the fogs hold to the bumper and remove any excess silicone when it dries.. then use the grinder to give myself some room from the metal notches behind the bumper to put the fogs in. I'll post pics later today.

Guys! Problem! The fogs work nicely, but the re-inforcement bar (the black bar behind the bumper) isn't allowing any clearance for the fogs when I tried putting the bumper back on, anything I can do to solve this? Tried using a grinder, doesn't work too well on this steel.
