finally some wheels...

first off, sorry for the dirty as a motherfucker car, theres been alot of melting going on lately lol.

so, after a ton of searching and not finding what i want i came across these pieces of shit and just did a test fit. 18x8 +30 225/40/18 fronts, 18x9 +25 235/40/18 rears(they were mounted on a GS400, silver one in the pics). oh, did i mention WORK Euroline content?

any comments/help on the tire situation though? should i switch the tires front to back? also, i still need to go down a bit in the rear once im ready to actually mount them.

you definitely need to either run negative camber in the rear or pull and roll the fender to run that tire size with that offset. then you can lower it more and really do those wheels justice

Rears are rolled already rolled, I'd rather pull than run camber if I can, or ill do both if I have to but I'm stoked to get these on and fitting proper!

They dont look rolled.. i think if you go lower, run negative camber and pull the fenders even more itll look great. Maybe run stretched tires if you have extra money for new tires.

You are going to have to stretch the fenders and run some camber.

move front tires to rear, buy 215/40/18 for fronts.

18x8 18x9 were same specs as my locksmice mesh.

i figured i should move the rears to the front anyways. jjashaa, did you run camber and a pull too? speaking of locksmince, i was soooo close to pulling the trigger on some locksmice gerades, but the width was semi-weak, 8.5 all around thanks for the input!

You dont even have to run any camber arms. Just slam the car, and natural camber will be enough, and get smaller tires and you'll be fine with those wheels specs. 215/40/R18 would be perfect, since I'm running the same setup. And only rubs in the rear when I angle. It'll look better when its done, but you're the first tl I seen with these eurolines.

in the works guys. selling the 235s, just waiting on the tire shop to tell me if they want to run the stretched tires, theyre afraid to touch these wheels lol i might have to find a different shop.

either way, its getting done! more pics to come once everything is done.

Those wheels have to be on a slammed car. You could also run a 205 up front, it's not much of a stretch. You might get enough camber from slamming the car.

Right now its on the highest ride height. when I throw them on, you better believe its coming down. I'm not gonna throw 205s on, nor am I going to throw 215s all around, just 215 front and 225 rear, it'll be good enough for me and it'll still look dope as fuck.

^ You might run into rubbing issues with 225 in the rear depending on what tire brand you get... I'd rather go 215 and be safe, but that's your desicion...

those aren't "pieces of shit" wheels, LOL! i'd take them any day. can't wait to see it all dialed in. definitely gonna need some more stretch and camber to fit these.

with the rears rolled and pulled you shouldnt have any problem running 235s either.

alright guys, just about done, pulled the fenders, lowered it more, but the bumper is sitting on the tires on the rear. i tried lowering it more to see if it would pull in more natural camber but its not happening, so im assuming a camber kit is needed...

which camber kit, i know ingalls, but i dont know which kit that i need, someone point me in the right direction please!

Run rubberbands all around lol. Tires are too meaty in the rear as you can see.

theyre only 225/40/18 in the rear, there are plenty of people running these tires and these offsets without this issue.

you need more stretch lol. go with a 225/40/18 in the rear and a 215/40/18 in the front.

you said 235/40/18 are your rears and 225/40/18 are your fronts.

edit: nvm, read above. that's still not enough of a stretch for the rears. i say you run a 215/40/18 all around like people have been saying. that's the only way you'll get them to fit without getting a camber kit.

Try trimming more plastic off the top of the rear bumper. Trim it all the way to the edge to get the maximum clearance.

Man thats gonna need a lot of camber with that tire size. The wheels will look great if you can get them to fit right!

^^^^^

But with too much camber, the tires will wear out really fast : all on the inside edges.
