Finally got a Blitzsafe! (and dash mount)
Warning: Long. I just felt like documenting this. Read if you'd like.
After a year of driving w/ my XM receiver positioned all over my car, I finally got a right-of-radio mount (Panavise 75119-300) as well as a Blitzsafe adapter (HON/ALP DMX V.1D). Purchased from Enfig Car Stereo for about $111. I installed it last night. It took quite some time because I like to hide wires. All the wires and the Blitzsafe box ended up being concealed in the center console.
I have a Delphi SkyFi3 XM receiver as well as a 20gb iPod simultaneously connected to the Blitzsafe. As long as only 1 device is on and any one time it works great! I am extremely pleased with the final product. The sound is excellent!! Loads better than a cassette adapter. XM sounds better than FM now! And it's a little better than the quality of a burned MP3 CD. The iPod is about the quality of a CD. The sound volume is a little soft (especially w/ my exhaust) (which I knew going into it) But thankfully, my XM SkyFi3 has a Line-Out volume control, so it's not really a problem. I'm also VERY happy to finally have my XM radio mounted in a great spot for once.
The removal of the plastic "wood grain" trim was VERY simple. To remove the passenger side kick panel, I had to unscrew the rear-center console/box and push it back, so I could pull out the kickpanel. But it turned out that I removed the entire rear center console to drill a hole for my iPod cable.
The installation of the Blitzsafe wasn't too difficult. You really do need to have small hands/fingers. The angle at which you have to plug the cable in is VERY awkward. After about 4 attempts, I went and got a long flat screwdriver. I stuck the screwdriver behind the Blitzsafe cable to push forward, while my fingers pushed up. And voila! First attempt, the cable went into the HU and I pushed it up until it clicked it. Easy as peach pie. Took all of 30 seconds.
Now let's just hope it doesn't break.
Here are some pictures. I'll try to explain what I did.
I drilled a hole in the bottom of the center arm rest console to feed a wire to my iPod/MP3 player.

I got it as close to the front of the console as possible so as to not interfer w/ the ebrake cables.

This is where it comes into the console.

I fed it up to the top drawer.
I could have bought a iPod/RCA cable. But I really don't use this iPod much. I hate iTunes. I'll be getting a larger capacity MP3 player soon (Creative, Archos, etc.)

Here's no center console.
If you have to remove the center console. DON'T FORGET TO UNPLUG THE 12v power outlet plug! The console can move back about 3 inches w/ out have to unplug it.

Here are the cables that I used.
2 x RCA spittlers (1 for the left channels. 1 for the right channels)
then 2 x RCA --> 1/8 cables

I tucked the BlitzSafe box behind the carpet. There is JUST enough room for it!

The hardest part was tucking 12 FEET of RCA cable in. LoL. I could have probably ordered some 2ft RCA cables online, but my car was all taken apart, so I just wanted to finish. But it turned out fine.

The Panavise mount. It's pretty sturdy w/ only 1 screw. The genius behind this mount and the guy who said "let's make one for the Acura TL, deserves a pat on the back!

Kickplate thingy put back on and the center console put back together (minus the wood trim)

Wires tucked in behind wood trim

Tada!

At the perfect angle within arms length.

List of everything I'm using (w/ links):
