Dyno video

Dyno video
Just installed the Comptech axle back. Now I'm contemplating whether to get the comptech headers...I want more power after doing the dyno. I have the Injen CAI installed as well. I wasn't too pleased with the numbers. 204.9 SAE Horsepower which works out to 215 WHP after the conversion from my understanding and 200.7 Max Torque.
I'm still waiting on my work wheels...another few weeks to go.
Anyhow here’s one quick shot of the car and a video clip of the dyno.

wow, 215 is pretty good for just intake and exhaust. Some people (tl-p) see that even with headers on, so don't feel too sad about your numbers.
It was nice bumping into you on the 410 heading south that day, I saw a slammed black aspec without tints, and i knew it was you, lol.
Can't wait to see the new work wheels on tho.

215whp with just intake and exhaust is not bad at all! You should be seeing another 15-20whp when you put your headers on.
hmm..after looking at your photos...I want to put sidemarkers on to complete the JDM look...

Yeah, you're numbers are good for the mods. I dynoed 245 whp with I/H/E/P and, for those mods, mine is one of the highest I've seen so far (I got lucky I guess).
The video is great though...I can listen to that all day long...especially with a CAI when it hits VTEC.

The A-Spec comes with body colour paint around the grill rather than chrome for all other 02/03 TLs.
The list of changes on the A-Spec over your standard TL-S IIRC include blacked out headlights (blued out for the ABP, I believe), body colour accents around the grill, sidemarkers, A-Spec spoiler with middle pillar and additional lights on either side at the top, aero lip kit (I think), A-Spec rims which are basically the type-S rims with 7 spokes instead of 5, blue leather accents for the interior on the seats, doors, steering wheel and shift knob, and brushed aliminum accents instead of the fake wood/marble of the other interiors.
I think that's the complete list... can't wait to get an A-Spec of my own next year and begin my own mods

Whoops, forgot about 1 more thing the A-Spec has over the other TLs... body colour door handles instead of chrome. I think they give the car a much better look ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Someone please feel free to add to the list with anything I might have missed.

Well i have come up with 3 conclusions, 1. As you know your car looks dam great, 2. Im diggin how the car looks without tints, i dont know i just feel a car looks more cleaner without it, and i just noticed your doorhandles are colored match, your grill i already knew, but the color matched to me gives it such a unique look........YEP THAT MUST BE AN A-SPEC.....DAM YOU....LOL....

The amber makes the car stand out much more, compared to the cl......just check for your self....i think when the amber is removed it doesnt look attractive with all black, sometimes it even dulls the look.....

Nice lookin car, kinda looks like mine. Your #s are spot on, you may actually hit 245whp after you add headers & a pulley. Last time I dynoed with i/h/p it was 240 whp and that was with an almost dead cylinder. Got a new motor now, and an exhaust so Im looking to do better this time around
