Naw, they're slightly different....I thought they were the same at first also, but they're not...
But I'd still stay away from this style of wheels for a while.

Judging by the pedals and shiftgate that must have been some hit...I have never seen the pedals get altered like that.

^^^ just shows you how hard of a hit it was, with the whole firewall shifting (gas pedal is into the center tunnel now), but yeah no idea how that brake pedal would get bent like that though, other then it wrapping around his ankle or something

There is no way that a quarter to a half inch of metal is wrapping around your ankle and you are okay...My jaw was on the floor when I first saw the pic of the pedals though.

I was scared to open this thread up... man that sucks bad to see this happen, BUT I am glad to hear that you are doing okay and that nothing happened to your girlfriend either!

Seeing cars like that really scares me, in regards to other drivers out there....

Thanx guyz

hey thanks for all the support. My girl is doing ALOT better since she got out of the hospital. if any of you guys live in the soflo area i could really use some help finding another car. I believe my insurance will cover 6500 to 7000 for a my pay out. Would love to get into another TL. PM me with any info. On another note, anything i could remove off the car is damaged.
Intake-Completely Bent closed (as you can see from the photos)
Comptech Strut Brace- Bent into the shape of an "n"(You can see the hood bent the same way.
Headers- If anyone wants to help me remove them, they SHOULD be ok
Apexi World Sport II exhaust- Completely bend out of shape (Should still be fixable)
19x8,19x9 inch staggered dc wheels-One is completely cracked. The other 3 look good, just need to get them off the car.
HID head lights and Highbeams, should still b alright
Aluminum pulleys- Should b alright as well.
Tein Basic coilovers- ??Who knows??

Any other questions, just hit me up. Once again thanks for the supports guys

, love mine

and the teins, 3 of them should have no problem, it be that frontleft one you would have to look at closely (i would think mainly a bent shaft on the shock proably if damaged)
and the pullies, completely on the other side of the car, but still make sure that they did not happen to be stuff into the other framerail, from the motor shifting over from the hit

also with your girl doing better now

leased cars, are just like rental cars to me, the drivers don't care about them, cause they will be turning them in anyways at the end of the lease period (so they only do the required maintence that is required in the contract)

if it is a really low mileage lease , then yeah no problem really (under 30k), but when you start getting into higher mileage leases, then you need to start being careful

, with basically only oil changes having been required since new (yes there is a thing called an 15k service, but that is basically just an air filter, and tire rotate, so nothing major), so yeah the 30k service can still be done right on time like how it needs to be

and BTW i am also an auto tech/mechanic, so i do prize a well maintained car like your cousion probably, like on mine i bought it at 101k, but i knew it's history since it had 7k miles on it, since the owner has been a customer of the shop (so FULL records0 i work at (i started working on it at about 45k), and literally the owner was never over 100 or so miles overdue on his oil change (so every 3k basically on the dot)
