Yea i went to SD to get it and the drop is the next thing coming prolly within a few weeks and a month at the latest, then itll be paint on the kit and install along with the mugen grill. And dont worry rockstar kit is already off and stock sideskirts are back on. And ill be sure to look into that shop man cause im getting quotes of like 400-500 where ive been going recently and im not tryna pay that much just for paint for the kit.

Haha yea im slowing down in the next month cause i have been doing a lot but ill always find something to mod on the car i have so many plans. But also i happened to get lucky coming across and picking up all the main parts i needed at the same time instead of separately or months apart. But yea im still kinda new to the forum and havent met a lot of people at all but i mostly chat with everyone on the forum as opposed to in person. I know theres a lot of members from socal though

Ahhh i see yea theres a shop down the street from me that has them brand new for 575. I dont think thats too bad but im still gonna look some more. I also put my grill on this morning but havent took any pics yet and i was wondering in order to remove the middle piece where the mugen badge is do u have to cut the whole middle piece out? Cause its attached to that and i dont really like the look of the badge there.

Leave the middle piece, it's more of statement that you're rocking the real thing, idk if it's real or not since the fake ones have the middle bar too I believe.

yea so here's the plan. I was originally planning to drop it before painting the kit because it just needs to be dropped so badly, but then I figured if I drop it then it would be annoying to fit the kit on after the drop once its painted since i wont really know how low i can go. but then again its probably not that much different cause the kit doesnt make such a huge difference, but still. Therefore, I am going to paint the kit first, slap it on probably by the end of this month at the latest. and then wait probably another month or so to drop it so hopefully by the end of april it will be dropped and kitted(if thats a word, lol). THEN, i will finally decide if I want to keep the middle piece but right now im kinda 50/50 about it but we'll see as time goes. Oh and then im going to add fogs too after that .

Do you know if they fix any scratches by filling it in? I gave them brand new pieces that were painted all different colors from Acura so it was probably easy for them to paint. With yours they might have to smooth scratches out and stuff so that might be a reason for the high quotes you got, but what do I know about painting.

They do fix and smooth scratches. However, while i was at the other shops they hadnt seen the pieces yet so they just gave me high prices for i dont know why. but what the guy at the shop was saying was because it was so messed up on the bottom that if he filled it in then sanded and smoothed it he would be making it thinner and thinner with the sanding and since its already pretty beat up he doesnt want it to break from being more thin once its sanded out. So instead hes gonna just sand and paint and then leave the beat up part since its not really fixable and noticeable anyways once it will be on the car since its on the bottom. You would literally have to go out of your way to see it by looking up at the bumper from under it on the floor lol.

Took a few night shots of the front end...the badge on the grill is really growing on me more and more everyday so i think im actually gonna leave it on there. Sorry for the crappy pics its from my phone but you get the idea. Also! Car is going into the shop tomorrow to have the oem kit paint matched and installed so i will have pics of that later on in the day. I think the kit is really going to set it off like fiyah! and then ill just need a drop. Anddddd im thinking of going on a hunt for mugen trunk spoiler too. I hate spoilers on my cars but honestly after going through that mugen spoiler thread it totally changed my mind about it but its the only exception so well see where that goes
