Just installed the 3A tips and did the mufflers and back half of the exhaust black with the high temp spray paint. Let me know what you think....

 

looks good exactly like mine minus the tail light tint.

looks great, im not sure bougt the tint id need to see better pics. i asume u covered the orange defuser, if u have the money get tls tails and tint it. but like i said id need to se better pics to judge. 3A tips FTW

 

HAHAHA when I saw the first pic real quick, it looked like it had a ghetto, Tall Square Wing cause of the way the house is in the back.

 

meh, i knew i'd get flamed by people for the tint, but i dont have the money for the 02-03 tails and this was a cheap fix for the ugly 99-01 tails. i think the tint looks better on lighter color cars, but my camera is also shitty and the pics do not do them justice. i am eventually gonna open up the headlights and black them out too, so i think it will go good with my theme.

 

yea i wish i had the cash for them to, prioritys tho. i think the tint looks better than the orange, lighter colors prolly better. get up some new pics so we can see

 

your car looks pretty nice... if you really want to tint the tails that badly, buy a set of 02-03 tali lights and only tint the red. Leave the clear part uncovered... the white highlights the curves of the car and without some color there, it loses some of it's beauty because there's nothing there to break up all that space... the TL's ass isn't that small

i think you pulled the tips out a little too much. push it in a little bit and it will look better.

 

I just got some 3A tips for my TLS. they look great and are so much better than the stock tips.

Money is kind of short right now since I'm at FSU, but I am eventually going to get a kit.. I'm thinking 02-03 front bumper molded to my headlights, OEM front lip, OEM SS, and WW rear. I probably will do the 02-03 tails one day too, just not any time soon.
They are all the way back, butted up against the muffler

Humm, weird. My old 3A" tips were all the way back and they were flush w/ the lower part of the bumper.. Doesn't look that bad so w/e.

It is off by maybe 1/8". Very small. I will see what I can do with them.
