Cleaned up the engine bay a little.

well before it looked like shit, no covers, all covered in grime, so i decided to clean it up, painted the covers gunmetal, added the H emblem, painted the RED writing to WHITE, and polished the aluminum intake cover....

wow man u really do whore in every picture thread

to get the intake part polished it takes time....took me roughly 7-10 hrs in two days....gotta sand it from 80-120-220-400-600-1000-2000 then polish, takes only 10 min to polish its the sanding stages that needs the time...volly and jcharged got it done which made me wanna do it.

i used duplicolor gunmetal rim paint for the covers with few shots of laquer.

na i just cleaned it up and fine sanded it to get the old carbon off. i didnt take off the whole manifold, just the top piece.

and i stole the idea from volly/jcharged hehehe

and to clean all the small cracks and areas, use a good engine cleaner, i used gunk citrus engine cleaner, and let it soak good, but dont get it on electrical connections...i didnt cover any areas just went carefully on them...really hard to reach spots, sprayed it on a rag and wiped. then used tire shine to shine up rubbers.

Look awesome ...expecially the manifold cover.

I would have done ABP but gunmetal still looks hot with the white stripes.
