CF Eyelids from Rockblocker
Install the carbon fiber eyelids for my TL late afternoon today. It looks good on the car, but not very impressive;however, after a long look, I kinda like it.
One thing I wish is that the material should be a little bit thicker so that it can eliminate those small wringkle on the top, but it might be little harder to bend into shape. Will try to take some more pics during the day for better look.

I was tempted to buy them. I'm glad I got to see them on an NBP 1st.
I think they look ok. I think the fact that you have them on top of your rockblocker smoke film kinda takes away from the eyelid look.
I definately can't justify 100 bucks for two strips of CF though.

LacViet - no offense, but imo you're doing way too much cosmetic work. all these rockblocker tint films and eyelid threads are kinda just repetitive.
why not save up for some new wheels or a s/c or somethin.

I think they look good, BUT i think they would look better with normal headlights with out the tint on them

The thing is I always want to have eyelids with blackout headlights, but since I have tint headlight first, I guess I just try it on to see how it looks. Until I don't like it anymore, I WILL blackout the headlights (someday that I have guts to rip the headlight apart ) and possible adding homemade angel eyes along with it. I think the combination of blackout headlights/ angel eyes / CF eyelids would look much better than current.
I'm not into wheels that much, but if I happen to come across some nice used wheels, then I might buy them. As for performance mods, what's else can i do without going too crazy? I do plan to add S/C next year and thermo spacer will be on the car next week.

Maybe not the CF, but the eyelids themselves look good. I think maybe its cuz the CF isn't shiney so it stands out as matted and dull compared to the shine of the dark paint. It looks that way in the full sunshine picture with the paint gleaming. In the pic where you're parked in the shade, it looks good cuz its sleek and blends in with the paint.

This pic looks sick, makes me want to tint my headlights instead of blackhousing. I'm sure this was asked before, and anwered many times, but does tinting your headlights affect the brightness? Will the road still light up the same or slightly less bright?

I think your looks great, one of my favorites posted. But I agree with others, not a big fan of the eyelids. I think a whole carbon fiber hood would be great.
Imo the eyelids remind me of kids that have Civics. TL is for people who upgraded from those days. ( I use to have black accord, TL-S for me one day)
Nice Ride
