Ahhhh...... The eternal question.......
Money isn't a huge issue, ride quality and longevity are.
Not gonna slam it, roads in Detroit are phucked!
Just want a nice, stylish drop with an awesome ride quality for road and track, not to mention, I simply do not want to be replacing whatever I choose every year......
A good spring/strut combo would work good for me, however, the ability to adjust whenever I see fit with coilovers is very appealing to me as well.... just not the 'seize up' factor that will come with the oversalted roads here.....

Koni yellows and H&R sports are the top in my spring/strut choice list, however, Tein coilovers with the EDFC setup looks real appealing to me as well.......
Either way I go would be roughly the same price, unless there's a killer deal on one or the other when I get to doing them.
There's also the matter of WHEN I'll be doing that upgrade, the struts on my car look wayyyyy too good to be 10 years old with 160k miles on them, still rides real tight too...... Leads me to believe they were replaced sometime before I bought the car, Honda stamped struts too......

The only tein coilovers that can run the edge are the superstreet and maybe the street advance which will sart you at about 850$-900$ than about 250$ for the edfc. You can get koni yellows for 500-550$ just about any day sometimes if your patient you can get them for a really good deal. H&r sport springs will run you 200-250$. So you will save about 3-400$ with strut and shock combo. Plus it's not that difficult to adjust the rear shocks just pop out the rear seat real quick. also koni shocks have lifetime warranty, all coilovers have a one year warranty.

I've been busy these last couple days!
Time for some pics! Got everything in I needed to make my Koni Yellow / H&R Sport Spring setup! All new everything from the dealership, including '08 TL-S bushings! Everything went together soooo damn smooth!
Found out the cups for the rears were upside down during the install, buuuutttt........
Installed!!!!!!
Almost a zero finger gap up front!
I'm totally loving this new setup! Got the fronts a little less than 3/4 firm, and the rears a little more than 1/2 firm and it rides phenomenal!
Next on the list is my new intake manifold setup to be installed next week!
Type-S IM, Outlaw Engineering Thermal Spacer kit, and an AEM V2 CAI!

Very nice I'm going to order my koni yellows this weekend. When I get mine I'm going to set the rears on the lower perch to make a little less than 1 finger gap all the way around.

Few new pics, did some more things!
Got the new suspension all tweaked just right, feels great, looks great!
Sorry if the pics are crap, took them on my phone!
She's a little dirty, but you all get the picture
Also did a little motor work! Put my Type-S intake, Outlaw Eng. spacers, and AEM V2 on!
This is where I ran power for the RPM Switch and IMRC, off the TCS circuit, so far zero issues
Here's the RPM switch mounted to the back of my battery box with cotter pins!
Overall I am very pleased with all the mods I've done the last couple months, everything came together very smoothly! The new intake REALLY helps, even more so when VTEC kicks in!
Next on the list, headers!
