BBS LM on 2nd gen.....pic request.

Hello all,

Does anyone by chance seen or have pics of BBS Le Mans (LM's) in 18s on a 2nd gen TL?

Thank you!

Go to Tirerack.com and pick out the car (2003 Acura TL) and then pick the rims. I seriously doubt there would be many people who would drop that kinda $$$ onto rims (that aren't chromed).

Don't get me wrong -- the BBS LM rims are beautys, but US$783 each? No way! Maybe on a Lex or a Beemer, but not on a TL.

LM's in 19s will not fit the 2nd gen Acura TL. I've talked to both Damon at the Tirerack and also to Peter @ Wheel Experts about this. Both say no.

Besides 18s are better for driving.

personally i think the bbs RGR would look better if you were going with those style rims. plus they are lighter rims! and for the money issue i would rather buy hre wheels, but thats just me!

I'd like to see the LM's too, but I'm not holding my breath. I wish the BMW CSL (replicas) wheels fit. Those are nice in 19's and not that expensive either.

yeah had a feelin that might be the case... to bad they don't offer more offset choices w/ the LMs... oh well 18s w/ a sweet drop would still look hot

HRE rims are actually quite poor quality relative to the other higher end rim manufacturers.

If you're talking about European rim makes, BBS, OZ, would be on my short list that make rims that fit our cars.

Among Japanese manufacturers: Work, Volk, RacingHart, SSR, Lowenhart would be on my list.

Hey -- if you do buy those BBS LM rims -- post pics. $3k for rims (no tires) ... that's adding close to 20% of a 2nd gen TLs value. Sorry, I can't justify that kind of expenditure, even if it's a business expense for me. If you've got that kind of cash, more power to you. I would save that cash towards my next car + mods.

Never say never, I don't believe that they will not fit, i think it'll fit but with some modifications of course....but as the others stated, go with different wheels, but if you want to drop that much cash then go for it, no one is stopping you.
