Baby's got a new skirt for summer
And boy is she lookin' sexy. I don't know how I lived without the lip kit, but back in April I decided my baby was worth it.
Called up Bellevue Acura, talked to an awesome guy by the name of Joe and he hooked me up with a complete OEM kit
within my budget. I've had it for a few months now, but wanted to wait to share.
Now, here she is in all her shiny glory. Here's my fav shots from our photo shoot today around my home town after a nice cleaning.
p.s. Spacers for the rear are in the mail. Gotta flush out her wheels.
Enjoy!

Charcol: I ended up getting it shipped, it was expensive but came within my budget so I went for it.
Threepoint: Thanks man, I love it too. One of my favorite blues on a car. I would lower it more if my roads were better and winters were milder.
I also like not having to worry much about scraping.
03tls: Thanks, it happened to be beautiful day in St. Albert so I thought it was time for her to have a bath.
And I always like a good excuse to use my new camera (Panasonic zs7 = awesome). And it took me so long to pick out wheels and those ones just fit perfect.
My only complaint is that they could be lighter. My next wheels I'm hoping to have 20lbs or less each.
ANC: Cheers man, I did a three stage polish last summer so she's held up nicely since then. I need to do another full detail on her soon.
Volly and Princely: Thanks
Tay: It's off a 2G CL remember. Looks nice and clean hey?

Hahaha thanks Rockstar
Thanks Klectic, I don't get tired of it either!
Cheers ACT
What does everyone think of the carbon fiber wrapped door handles? Thought I'd match the pillars and say goodbye to the stupid chrome (gonna do the rest of the window trim soon).

Ughhhhh I love this car! This is how I would want my 2G set up if I had one.
I can't stop looking at the pics

Thanks 02Type-s, tasteful is what I'm going for and I love my wheels too.
Thanks Charcol. I think I might just do something about those headlights of mine tomorrow...I may simply clear the orange sidemarkers.
CLtotheTL thanks a lot man! You have a fine looking 3g yourself
Upon request (note these are before I washed my car):

Haha thanks guys, I'm glad it all flows. You know what I would have loved to have the type 3 face or even type 2 but our cars have the WORST offset that I didn't want to deal with. I have 10 mm spacers coming for the rear so ill be running 18/7.5/42+ offset. I didn't want to roll the fenders

Haha I know Josh, soon enough. How's the Genesis? Such a nice car. I wanna test drive one.
Thanks Tay, I bought a 12 square feet roll for my pillars and window trim. I wrapped the handles with a small portion. Doesn't take much. I just decided to try it one day and be the first. I know Phee has matte black on his handles though

Mr. Maker you are a strange man haha
Can't wait for my spacers to get here! I hope I don't rub now.
Also, LED fogs are on the way. I'm done with HIDs and they're unreliability. Stupid ballasts fail once a year.

Beautiful!! Yeap, the lip kit is DEF worth it! Seems like 90% of the 2G TL's on the street don't have em and they really set it apart, not to mention a drop and rims as well. I honestly have only seen less than 10 TL's with the OEM lip around my area.

Charcoal: I may just have to get them rolled one of these days in preparation for some different wheels down the road. Not anytime soon. I'm not a wheel whore like someone and we all know who that is.
TS: Thanks man, I agree 100%. It completely changes the look of the car for the better, even more so than on a 3G or 4G. When I see a TL without a kit and completely stock I laugh at how boring and lame it is. Whenever I saw one with a kit though, BAM my head would follow it until it was out of sight. Even if it was stock.
Cheers Fetish
09type-s and I are most likely meeting up for the first time tomorrow so if the weather doesn't shit on us stay tuned for some pics of the two sexiest (EBP) 2Gs in our area.
