After the big clean (pics)

Used my ancient Sears auto polisher and Poorboys SSR2, wiped down then the same routine using Poorboys SSR1. Wiped it down and let it sit overnight since I was beat after that. Today a coat of Zaino polish lok followed by a coat of Zaino Z2. Let that sit for an hour and a half and wiped it all down. Then put on a coat of Zaino Z5, let it sit an hour and a half and wiped it down. Car now looks like black glass! All of those annoying swirl marks are gone. Keep in mind, this car was purchaned in August of 2001....there are some dings, rock chips and the like but she looks absolutely fantastic in my book. Let me know what you guys think! Dialups beware....pics were taken with an 8MP Nikon so files are pretty big.

Pics are here give me your feedback. I'll be in the house the rest of the night...my old bod is really bitching and complaining...that was a LOT of work!

Man ... you did an awesome job with the paint.

After I washed my car on the driveway yesterday ... I shudder to think at what winter did to my car ... Also what a curb did to part of my front lip ... (stupid snowbanks)

I think it's funny that you shaved your trunk, but had to put a "type-s" license plate frame on. Kinda funny.
Good work keeping the black paint clean. I used to have a black Prelude and washing that thing every week for 5 years made me buy a silver TL. lookin good
