literary nothing....all you need is the type S motor...the only thing i would reccomend is that you switch the water neck house w the housing from the original motor....dont worry it will bolt right on the type s motor...the reason being is that some of the sensors are in different positions....mounts are the same, so is the exhaust pipping,....everything bolts in perfectly with no check engine lights.....ohhh before i forget u have to take of the butterly flaps inside the type s manifold

What about the ECU? Did you use a type S ecu too? Did all of that just plug and play pretty much? I'm really thinking about doing this on my 01 TL-P when my engine goes.

How does the car run on the Base model ECU? Are you going to get tunable ECU to tune the motor?

Not that good.....this comp pulls a lot of timing....but its still a type s....definately need the AEM for the v6....that's the next step

So I am guessing your redline is still 6250RPM instead of the Type-S 6800RPM due to your stock ECU? I wonder if you manual shift would it let you shift at the 6800rpm redline?

thanks those p2r power plenums really set the engine bay of nice...but yea its not alot of work....i have to go AEM regardless of auto or manual....aem is picks up about 30 hp on peak n 60 hp in the mid ranges....trust me having a v6 w/o aem is way worst than a k series w/o k pro
