Hey your ride looks pimped. Got a quick question for u...i see that ur up in vancouver and I'm assuming that its a Canadian model u got. I recently just bought an '02 TL-S as well and was wondering how to disable my DRLs. Have you disabled yours or are you just pulling the e-brake so they didn't come on when you took the pictures??
thanks man.....lata

open the hood and there is a fuse box near the wiper blade.
just find the proper fuse chip and remove it . . . then you are done for the DRL.

btw... NICE looking car man

I already bring my car to the shop and let them paint and install my WW rear lip.

like Chewi and InspireUA5, i took out the fuse, but make sure you don't get in trouble from the cops. Running without DRL's are illegal in Vacouver for newer model cars.

I had it off for awhile, but it's illegal in Vancouver, didn't want to take the chance, i just moved it to the side

Lol i live in vancouver too.

I auctually bought my 2002 3.2 TL Type-S and picked it up today (I traded in my 2001 Mercedes CLK320) but pissed rain all day today.. not the greatest first drive but i still love it.

PS. It's day 29 of rain (new record. old record was 26 back in 1940s or 60s)

True, we always want our cars to standout. Here DRLs on a TL are different, and look cool. There, its the norm, and boring.

If it was a quick mod, I'd probably do mine too!!

I'll just start by kicking my front plate to the side, I like that look!

Congrats on your purchase, hope you can join our spring meet like Chewi wrote.
I really thought we missed the record by 2 days, 1'st day to tie, and the 2nd to beat the record, hum.... oh well... doens't matter, still rained afterwards. hahaha
any thing modded on the TL yet? hahaha

sure thing, i'll do it later today, though my rims are abit curbed

they were taken at differnt locations, hard to find a nice places to take pictures without all the high traffic areas, and it was rushhour at the time.

Thanks, i need a more professional camera, a generic point and shoot camera is not cutting it. hahaha
i love the pictures you take.

I got a mortgage and the benz costs quite a bit to maintain and the insurnace on it is absolutly ridiculous and I'm too young to go with private insurance.

Besides aren't you supposed to be saying "Good job on trading it in, this car's better anyways" :P the switch affects me somewhat but I'll make it work.

I'm very big on car stereoes and performance so those mods are on the way and I will most likely come to the meets to check it out.

I think my GF is cheating on me.. :(

everynight for the past 4 weeks she has been acting very wierd...she comes home late everynight and claims she was busy at work.. we dont talk as much anymore and I feel like we are very distant from each other...it seems like she is more like a roommate than my girl...anyhow, recently things got worse.. she has been getting dropped off when she returns home..I confronted her and she claims that it was her project partner from work, which I dont believe....I am a very good friend with her project partner and dont think he will do such a thing...I know what car he drives (5 series) so I have to found out the truth myself.....last night I hid behind my TL which was parked on my driveway and waited for her arrival..after 40 minutes I heard a car slowly pulled into my driveway and that is when I noticed some rusting on the undercarriage of my TL's rear left fender...I just need to know whether the rust will buff right off or I need to bring it into a detail specialist?

got it from another forum, thought it was thread worthy here ahaha..

Hey thanks for the DIY for DRL's . I think running ur fogs without the DRLs looks a lot better, and it is also about making your ride stick out.

Maxx the rims look amazing on ur ride....keep up the good work.
