2001 Acura TL Fog lights! Not Round Not Accord

A few weeks ago i was able to finally put these fog lights in my car. Im new to this but I'm sure these fog lights somewhat look like a perfect fit for our 2nd gen tls!Name: ninnin775.jpg

They are the JDM ones - "JDM ua4 fog lights" but for anyone planning on getting them putting them in its a LOT of work. I was this close to not being able to get them on because of all the cutting involved. In the end they fit so damn nice i was stuck looking at the front of my car for a minute haha. At night it looks badass too, my gf was against me putting them on but once they were on she was like "ooo pretty, i want some.." haha I have yellow nokya lights which arent too bad if you dont mind not being able to see the yellow in front of you while driving. The yellow is bright and hits the ground right in front of it so it looks tight... just cant see it while driving

I had to cut out the fog holes and the fog light frame itself. I also cut part of the frame from the car that was in the way to make room so yeaa... you guys might be thinking wtf but everything has been put in securely and my fogs work fine. I dont know if cutting the actual fog light frame to make it fit will affect how the lights work because light doesnt escape from the inside. Plus everythings been sealed so water cant get in..

no offense but i like the way these fogs tuck in with the USDM TL bumper over the JDM one. They blend with the shape of the headlights which i think gives it a cleaner look.
here are some digital night pix

What are peoples thoughts on installing Projector fog lights on the TL? I'm thinking about buying Projector HID fogs, I think they would look good, but installing them seems like it would be really hard.

I dabbled with the idea when i first bought the car its not going to be that hard to install it looked to be to be much easier than the accord or civic mod but what turned me away is the look of them while there in the bumper the round just looks wrong in the pockets

Mount them in a different set of housings so that the shape isnt round in the cutout

Ive been thinking about adding a set of Micro DE's behind my accord fog lens to hide/mask the "round". Plus it will protect them from pitting and rocks

i like that idea behind the lens

when i test fitted the projector i was going to cut the pocket to make it flush. But didnt like the way it looked im going to retro something by spring when i get my bumper refinished
