headers change color due to heat. only way to prevent this is by jet coating them. BTW, what are the black rims on the black cl?

Yep .. the first couple pics were taken at a local park .. thats where everyone met up. Then a couple split when we took a cruise together to Old Orchard together. Again, had tons of fun ..and nice meeting everyone!

Edit* Sorry for no close-up shots ..my camera was on low battery and was limited to how many pics I could snap..so I decided not to take a lot of close-ups. But others were taking pics, so I assume they'll be posting their pics as well soon.

hey, very good turnout as was mentioned before. It was awesome to finally meet some Acura people from Chicago (the reason why i set up the meet).

We had some really nice stuff (13 in all): from the classic legend, to a 6 speed CL, to a red Cl-S w/ every mod there is (including nitrous!), four doors also represented w/ a beautiful TL-S that drove from WI, and plenty of TSX's as well as other nice TL-S's.

I wanna say sorry to a Red CL-S that I spotted driving away. We moved from Skokie Lagoons to a nearby parking lot at 2:50 b/c it was so hot. I went back to look for people. On the way, a red Cl drove away (Sorry man!!), but i was able to find the latebird, Ill TL.

Thanks for posting up the pics!!! I wish I would have remembered to bring my digicam, you know, being that this was a meet and all.... Next time I have to remeber to get my big ass out of some of the shots next time too!

i was just vacationing in chicago last week, nice to see the weathers still pretty good. I was looking around for some modded acuras on the street, didnt really get to see any though.

Stainless steal usually gets a weird bluish bronze color from the heat. I've had those now for 3 years and they have gone through 3 chicago winters. That's why they look worst than usual.

omg...... you guys had under 10 cars! geeeez!!! What happened to teh Chicago Scene?!?! We used to have like 40 cars or so when we had our Acura meets back in the days (I used to have an 01 CL-S). It was mostly CLs and Tl's, and of course some legends.......

It was fun, maybe next time you can bring your street gang, i'll start renting out the entire old orchard parking lot for you 40,000 cars. OK cool man, so what date is good for you?

Yeah, I glad you said you're kidding because I was about to say!!! My statement was more of an observation; what happened to the scene? Sucks that ALOT of ppl lost interest and the participation is not as good as it used to be... but then again, I'm old school here and I guess times have changed.... I usually host a meet with my G35 and Z club monthly, you guys are more then welcome to join in.... we do alot of combined meets with euroteknik. We did invite acurazine, but only 1-2 cars would show up... I remember one guy kinda drove by, looked around, and then left in like 2 minutes...

I was at the Nascar event at Chicago Speedway Sunday, otherwise I would have made it, Tool462 was out of pocket as well, we will make the next meet.
Andy's supercharged Accord is sweet and my modded Sundance Gold CL isn't too bad either, later!

If youre talking about the Black CL-S w/ the M3 lip. Dat be mine. I finally got my wheels and drop so that's my first pic on Acurazine. I finally got a few shots of "Darwin" so I'll post soon.

Anywayz, the wheels are Stern Beast ST-1. 18x8. Got Eibach Pro Drop with Tokico Blues. I think I need a camber kit on it now. Errrr, more money to spend...

Just wanted to add that I had a great time and it was great meeting all you guys.

Hey Luigi, you have to get the pics hosted from a site like photobucket. Just go to their site and set up an account, it takes about 5 min to do. Then you have to upload your images to their site. Once that is done each picture you upload will have it's own html tag that you copy from the site and paste it into the thread here.
