Yo! The interior is pure sex!

 

Wilwoods are everywhere, Brembo as well. I will be rebuilding the stock rear single piston caliper, powdercoating it, and getting Stop-Tech drilled and slotted rotors. Really trying to focus on the interior right now.. must save every penny for that!

I belive they are roughly 6", extended the Apexi tips. Cut the Apexi tips off, added a piece of 5.75" long pipe of stainless and welded the Apexi tip to the end. Stoked on the outcome.

Ive been working on a DIY false floor for the car as well. tucked all my air, audio beneath the false floor with the top 3" of the tank peeking through. I've been taking pictures every step of the way, will post up some progress pics tonight. Hope to have a detailed DIY posted as well in the next few weeks.

Cars been sitting for a while.. making improvements on some areas and cleaning up some loose ends. Like I said earlier Im wrapping up my trunk setup, false floor with 2 reverse mount 12" subs. Its coming together well, currently waiting on my tank to be dipped (chrome). Interior is going to the shop next week.

Also painted my air controller black and mounted it in the center storage upper compartment.

Trunk in-progress pic. Mocked up the sub on the raw MDF. This is what it will look like but obviously the MDF will be covered with fabric of some sort.

haha, i've been home. relaxing. haven't gone to any car related event since 2011 SEMA.. i've been working on that miata more than anything. haha

Much appreciated!! I like the color more and more everytime i am with the car.

Basically cut the controller dimensions into the tray, smoothed all the rough edges, and bam. It fits nicely.

Pulled out the seats and rear shelf.. time to get this interior done. Just dropped them off, should see them back in a couple weeks.

That little clip that goes over the shift lock.. lost mine when i had my dash/console apart, its been really bothering me having that lil clip missing!! haha but now i got it! lol




StopTech drilled/slotted rear rotors:







AND... seats/rear deck finished:





The seats/reardeck are all suede and leather, the suede matches the double diamond stitch suede on my door panels/center console. Its a perfect match, down to the dimensions of the diamonds. Super stoked on the work. The roof and pillars are wrapped in black suede as well with matching red stitching. I really need to get a picture of that!

Better pictures of the interior soon.. i need to really pull the car out of the garage!
