I actually ordered refractor LED bulbs from Ebay (yeah yeah I know) about two weeks ago. The output of the light is better since its has LEDs on the side of the bulb as well. Check it out:

I am currently using my regular filament white bulbs for now.

You oughta check 'em out.

Its a bright white/yellowish color, which is very blinding to the eyes. The bulb is intended to be used w/ my the old taillights because of the orange diffuser. The '02 taillights w/ a clear color diffuser, the light just shoots right at ya. I try not to use my signals at nite because its very blinding to the cars behind me and I'd probably get stopped by a cop.

You can get regular amber bulbs if you don't care much for your signals, which is cheaper and hassle free.

Oh really? Your state law requires only amber and red colours in your taillights correct? I think here we can use white, as long as its not too bright.

Nope. I won/bought them two weeks ago on Ebay, about the same time I resent my taillights, and I'm still waiting. Are you looking to buy LEDs as well?

You should be getting your taillights real soon huh? Have you changed taillights before?

Im considering them, want to see how they look first.

I'm supposed to be getting them in tomorrow and this is my first time changing tailights but my pops knows how to do it.

As soon as I get them I'll show you how they light up at night. I got LEDs for both front and back signals. I really don't like how bright orange the signals are in front.

As for the installation of taillights, its no sweat. My last installation took me about 30min. I should be a pro by now since I've changed the taillights on this car so many times. I use to have an Integra and I had changed taillights on it as well - same thing.

Hopefully the harness wire will fit your taillight because the last batch from IVM1, I had some problems with the signal bulbs fitting into the taillight since the hole was too big for it and therefore, had to duct tape it. If its the same batch from what I just got recently then it should be okay.

Good luck.

It makes a big difference huh? I really like how the lip spoiler looks on this car, despite what other TL owners think, so I will probably get it real soon.

You should update your picture gallery since your photos are professional.

Do you guys find yourselves looking back at your car when you're walking away from it?

4 hrs. huh? Did you have any problems with the harness wires?

I currently still have my regular filament white bulbs - they look bright I'll give you that.

Let me know if the police have a problem with it.

By the way, if you do indeed have "white" turn signal lights, you can be giving a ticket, the LAW requires you have either an amber or red turn signal light. WHITE lights are only to be used for headlights and back-up lights.

It's is not a Cali Law it's a standard across North America.

You may get away with it for awhile, in the end you will get stopped and given either a warning to have it replaced or a ticket.

Yeah alright then. I'll keep my amber lights in the car just in case they do pull me over. It takes two seconds to install.

I don't have a problem to get pulled over for a warning, its a reason for them to pull me over, but my concern is that one night out I might have a few drinks and having bright lights might attract them, especially at 1-2am.

Yeah they do actually. I might exchange the white for red.

I finally received them. Here are the LED's for my rear signals.

The picture can't really tell how clear it looks but these bulbs are amazing.

I didn't have time to install the front signals because it requires more time. You need to remove the whole front headlight in order to reach the bulbs right? I started to remove the bolts on top of the headlight but it didn't seem to budge. How the hell do you remove it then? Don't tell me I need to remove the bumper.

nah you dont need to remove the headlight, removing the bumper would make it much easier but if u take out the clips in the wheel well and fold down the plastic lining you can access the blub thru there

Thanks for the quick input. I'll try it tomorrow. Anyway here's a quick pic. taken at night. For some reason the signals are blinking fast, it must not be installed properly.
What do you think about fast blinking signals? Ricey? Hehehe...

your signals hyper-blink becasue they sense that one of you bulbs are out, but none are.. The LED's use A LOT less power and the sensor thinks theres a dead bulb.. you can fix this by buying a resistor at Radioshack!

I thought you'd like them.

Here's the seller's ebay link.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

That link is for our rear signal light bulb. (#7440 and #7443 are similar bulbs)

The seller's name is velocityleds_1 on ebay. He's a pretty good seller, very prompt in replies, the only thing I didn't like about this transaction is that it took 3 weeks. If you live in the US it might take less time, I assume. What he does though is that he'll charge for shipping but he'll just mail it thru regular mail. Some feedbacks says he's a very quick shipper, some don't. I guess if you're buying outside the US he might try and make some extra $$ on shipment, like he did with me. For me though I think its worth the time/$$

Either way you'll receive them, as long as your patient.

Anyway I'll take a few more pictures later on tomorrow.

... even though when I have my hazard lights on the signal blinks normally?
