OK so i got the WW on my car right now and i have the oem sitting in my living room.

Im still torn between the 2

WW
good: not a lot of 02-03 tls in houston have it, i like the way it looks
bad: mounting is terrible with the double sided tape ( the mom borrows my car to go shopping and wen she came home drove it up the driveway ( bad idea) the lip fell off cuz she ran into the side.

OEM
good: i guess mounting would be a lot better on it
bad: seems like all the 02-03 tls have it in general

So i wanted to see what everyones opinion was

OEM front lip, WW sides and rear. Get the ww sides molded (the akward part that protrudes up.

The Wings West front does not match the OEM sides however it's a sexy front lip.

I totally agree. You might aswell add the WW sides since you got the WW front and back The OEM sides are too skinny compared to the rest of the WW.

mold the WW front. I like the look of it except for the part that goes up right next to the wheel well. I think it would look a lot better if it's just flat.

i like the oem kit better......but i think if you remove the fins that come on the ww front lip it would look really good with the oem sides & rear......or a ww rear.......

this is the piece i'm talking about i don't like it looks on a 02-03.......

OEM , I sold my WW cause I was sick of the WW its sits too low for my driving style. The best thing to do to the kit is what S2Khatch did was cut the flaps on the WW skirts, OEM Front and WW rear..

either kit...just make sure your mom doesn't borrow your car.... haha

stick with the WW cuz its different and it looks nice with the smoked headlights and painted grill you got. keep the OEM cuz the OEM kits are getting rare, especially the front OEM lip.

I decided on the OEM front and sides and the WW rear and Flush mount trunk spoiler.
To me, for this specific car.. I think it's the cleanest looking short of the same under body setup and the Mugen 3 piece spoiler.

Although common, I like the OEM kit..bolts up nice and flows well with the car.

my thoughts exactly, i had the ww on my car when i bought it, swapped out to oem front/sides... the skirts are terrible, both the flap and the indent in the middle.

the ww front only looks good if molded to the bumper, imo

I prefer the OEM kit. It bolts up perfectly and goes perfectly with the lines. Plus the quality is there.

And believe it or not, I don't see many with the OEM kit when I'm driving around. Usually they are always staring at mine. lol

I'm about to install this set-up in my 03 TL-S.

-OEM Front and Sides
-WW Rear
-M5 Trunk Lip spoiler(have it on, starting to wonder if OEM would look better.

It may be common, most pepz have it, but it's for a reason, IT LOOKS THE SEXIEST. The WW Front and Sides looks like your tring to turn your TL Ricey, but didn't go all the way, in my humble Opinion! Plain and simple the WW just doesn't go with the TL's lines and curves, sticks out ike a (lol sore thumb)

But do whatever makes you happy, it's your car and your money!

stick with the WW so that way our cars won't look any more identical. hahahah j/k Oem front lip, I passed up getting the WW kit years ago and I don't regret that decision. Your preference. Oh and pic of my car is old and when it was banged up.

I like OEM, but EVERYONE has it, apparently. The WW kit is rare and thats why I bought it. Everyone seems to not like very subtle things about it but I like it. Meanwhile all your TLs look alike I'll be happy mine doesn't

BTW, have you seen sittinlow's car? 99-01 WDP with the WW kit? That car is pure sex. Thats the car that made me buy the WW kit for sure. Also because he has the same suspension and wheel/tire size that I have and i also have a WDP lol so basically I got a early preview of what my car will look like

glad to see i'm not the only one that feels that way about the ww kit....i still say that if you cut the fins off the front.....and put the oem sides with whichever rear it would look really good and i think you would the first to do it......i did a quick cut on paint......so you can get an idea of what i'm talking about.....it would kind of look like the oem front lip on the 99-01.....

the oem lip for the 99-01 tl's are the same as ww front lip minus the weird wing on the sides...but i prefer the oem front and sides with the ww rear...the ww rear compliments our pipes better than the oem

I've always preferred OEM front and sides and WW rear...but I've got OEM all the way around. It was cheaper and it looks pretty good.

yeah but this thread was started about kits for an 02-03....the ww front i think would look better then the oem on an 02-03....if those fins are cut off....but maybe its just how i se it in my head......
