no. he was driving a mhpd car. i saw him coming the whole way. nice guy though. could have easily been a dick when i showed him the paperwork. could have gotten me on tint. if cops want to, they can always find something.

just paint them like i did. black hightemp paint. i think it was grill paint i used. as long as its not shiny, they wont notice.

On the centercaps, have you or anyone else heard of a company called Grafx Werks? Check their website www.grafxwerks.com - they can custom make centercaps to specs.

blacking out the chrome trim and door handles would really finish that look off

i thought about blacking out the rest... i did that on my old car, but i dont think i want to this time. i kinda like the sprinkling of chrome around the windows, door handles and wheel lugs.

I do like your old rims better, but these look really good! And my idea for the centercaps would be a negative image of what they look like now. Meaning the background would be black and the Acura logo would be anthracite.

ya know, i thought about that... but again, if i dont like it or i screw it up, there are no do-overs. maybe sometime i'll get the balls to mess with the only centercaps i have, but for now, i think im gonna leave them be.
