$ happens-in less than 24hr

I got my new rims and tires on last Sat ; got hit by a stupid Corolla from the driver side and been pushed over the curb. 3 rims and 2 tires were gone in less than 24hrs. I horn loud but he still merge into me. I hated stupid driver. Now I don't know his insurance will repair it or replace the rims for me. 2 front tires are con't leaking, don't know if tires will be replaced at his insurance either. Does anyone know?

naw its not worth it having those rims on if they are fugged up...just to tell the other person to pay up...for the damages he has costed....rack in them insurance dough....maybe you will have enough for a car system..

I agree make his insurance company pay for them.. If I were you I wouldnt keep them on my car after that.. I would get the insurance company to cover them get yourself new rims and then sell those to me...........at a big discount so I can get them refinished....

If the insurance doesn't cover the wheels... Bring him/her to small claims court.

depends on how your insurance company covers extras (i have the option to pay a deductible for increased levels of coverage), but since the other person is at fault, force their insurance to pay for new rims and tires because they were less than 24 hours old.

it should be his insurance not yours, he caused you to do it. doesnt matter if they are factory or not, it was his fault

I plan to get my 21st century to fix it up first and then ask 21st to deal with his which is Allstate. I will sure force the shop to get me new once otherwise I will pick the others.

BTW, I plan to drop off to Marcos in San Gabriel, does anyone know other good shops in San Gabriel, Hacienda Heights, El Monte...area. I want to ask the shop to paint my rear bumper and the other undamaged fender (has paint defect at the mud guard area) at no cost to me. I will probably ask them to paint my bubbled up door trim in high gloss black as well. Have anyone ever ask the shop to do extra repair at no cost since it was a insurance coverage?

BTW, I will never put a mud guard or sunroof wind deflector again in my future cars, they will all damage the paint for sure.

I tried various ways but it's still not working. Anyways, I talked to the body shop yesterday and he said he can get me 3 new ones with such damage.

That's right, cannot afford the "real" ssr. Maybe a SSR center cap will be on later.. So the non-expert cannot tell...maybe...
