hey whats up, im pretty new to the tl community and soon am doing the i/h/e mods. currently im looking into a zex nitrous system after all thats done. can anyone give me information on this for me. is it an easy install, and secondly is there a switch that comes with the kit that activates the nitrous, or is the nitrous on all the time and it kicks in when you floor it. i know it only kicks in when you floor it, but if it doesnt have a switch on top of that im not really interested. dont really want to be driving around on nitrous all the time, only when i wanna kick some ass

now does the zex kit not come with a switch like this. and if not can i just order this and wire it in the circuit?

 

The install for the Zex Systems are rather easy from what I hear. The sytem comes with an "arming switch" which lets the nitrous management system (the brain) know that you mean business and it will spray only when you floor it. The nitrous management system is wired in with the throttle sensor so it learns when the best point would be to spray. Relatively a safe system, but shit does happen with nitrous time to time. I would also suggest getting a bottle warmer, purge kit, and remote opener (to make life easy) when you decide to make the purchase.
