Wood Wheel

I'm trying to get a 02-03 woodgrain steering wheel in my '00. Just wanted to make sure it is a direct swap, and yes I did do some searching and couldn't find a clear answer. Thanks.

Here is the link to the wheel I'm looking at. Wood Wheel

Should be. I think a couple CL owners swapped in the MDX wood steering wheel.

I was thinking of doing this too, but I don't know what color to get. I have Tan interior in my 03 TL-S.

The only colors carried by Acura with wood grain handles are Black and Taupe. I have no idea if Taupe is the right color, but I'm guessing it should be.

Also, I have no idea wat would happen with the airbags. Would they stay intact while you pulled apart the steering wheel?

I'm sure someone knows the answer.

after disconecting the battery and removing the necessary stuff, the air bag will come out as one complete unit that you would transfer over to the new wheel

Do you know if the 02-03 wheel will fit in my 2000? And is the swap easy to do or should I just take it to the nasty dealership $$$

I believe its a direct swap. Rent a steering wheel puller and do it yourself. Its not to hard. I have a PDF file on removing it to fix the steering wheel control that will show you how to get it off if you want
