I've done a search and still need help. I want just the mufflers and resonator for my 03' TL-S with oem piping for now. It's possible to change out the piping later on correct? What sites can I order the mufflers from for a good price?

 

Well a few members run the Magnaflow 14832's in place of their stock mufflers. You can use the stock piping. If you need a price let me know.

 

If I change the muffler and the resonator. Will the sound be noticeble? I want the looks of ss mufflers and a good growl with low to no drone. Can you PM me with a price excelerate. And clarify if the stock piping can be changed out later? Also are u selling JUST the muffler, or the axle back system?

 

Search for Magnaflow under the Second Gen CL forums and you will find a number of threads on this topic and also some links to the exhaust note. The Magnaflow setup is just mufflers, not an axleback system. If you want an axleback system I sell Comptech's.

 

I have magnaflow mufflers, magnaflow 14" resonator, and all stock piping. The sound is noticeable and there is droning when you accelerate. of course if you want to minimize that, just get a larger resonator, maybe 22".

 

What part # mufflers do you have? and do you have any pics u would like to share?

ok cool.. one more thing.. what's the different between single wall and double wall mufflers? what's the purpose?

I have 14829 magnaflows with an 18" resonator and custom cat-back piping. Here's a pic.

 

the difference is just the look of the tip. The double wall would look like it rolls in at the tip whereas the single would look just how it sounds.

oo you may have a cheaper place, but i know i bought all my magnaflow stuff from www.completeexhaust.com and they had pretty good prices
