What type of exhaust is this?

Hi everyone I was wondering what type of exhaust this is, and whether it was an axleback or catback. Thanks.

the b-pipe is compatible with any comptech axlebacks. the only difference is the location of the little hanger piece that is held on by a rubber gromet. you can have a muffler shop weld it in the right location for a few bucks.

Thanks for the response. Would the b-pipe help at all? I already did some quick searching on google and these forums, but found nothing on gains from b-pipes.

you'll get better gains if you get the b-pipe to go along with your axlebacks. your axlebacks dont do much at all. its just for sound and looks. the b-pipe make the exhausts a bit throatier and also will yield slight gains over having just the exhausts alone. i dont know if its worth paying so much for the comptechs, but most people here prefer a full comptech setup than most others.

i went with magnaflow axleback with a completely customed b-pipe from a muffler shop.. louder than comptechs, and definitly cheaper. costed a total of 400ish to do. im not sure tha gains compared to a full comptech setup, but i just didnt see the point of spending so much on exhausts

1-2 tops, Oh and the B-Pipe ONLY works on the type-s unless you swap out the cat for the type-s cat

the mufflers/piping on those pics definitely need a good cleaning/polishing job

I currently have an injen intake and comptech headers, and will get pulleys soons. Will that affect what type of gains I could be looking for from a catback? And also, is there any place that sells type-s cats?

scratch my previous post, it's seems getting the type-s cat and comptech b-pipe is too much hassle and quite a bit of money for minimal performance, so now im looking at resonators. What do you guys suggest? I want my exhuast to sound more aggresive, but not get too much more louder than how my axlebacks sound.

actually i felt a lot faster with the b-pipe installed, esp in the mid-range from 60-100mph accel

go to a muffler shop (not just any) get a quote for custom piping with the thing you want (resonator, mufflers, etc). this should work for you and is cheaper.
