the stock low beam gives the brightest output at 4300 kelvin. the fog lights do not come in hid stock, unless you previously installed a hid ballast kit.

Nothing will be brighter than the stock 4300k. Only way to give you more light is to do a projector retrofit or maybe a 55w HID kit??

no, all you need is the bulbs for the stock headlights. BUT you will loose usable light over the stock 4300.

yes the 4300k will give you best lighting performance in terms of lighting up the road. Anything above that temperature would be cosmetic just like the reverse hid.

As for upgrading from halogen to hid foglights i would advise against that. HID's are great on a clear night but when you encounter fog/rain/snow the HIDs eventually get "washed out". Since the oem halogen foglights operate at a lower kelvin temperature and its aimed right lower to the ground you will get the best lighting performance in those conditions. Hence the term foglight.

HID's can run at lower kelvin temperatures. I have 3000K HID fog lights, they're great even in heavy rain.

If you are looking for something that looks nice, but want to keep a high light output, go for 5000K for the low beams and 3000K for the fog lights. 5000K appear much whiter than the halogens do. 3000K appear yellow.

the silverstar bulbs are halogen and burn out in 20-30 hours, you can't even use it in the low beams. on 4300 or 5000k
