Went to the tracks.

I toook my 99 Tl. to the tracks. The best time I ran ws 16.001 at 89 mph. This is with a Dc Sports headers installed. Before the headers I ran 16.4 at 86 mph. I think I could of gotten 15.8 but I kept missing the green light on the spot.

your time should not start till you pass the line at a drag strip. you could potentially have a 10 second r/t and still run a 16 unless they've changed the way they time now.

I didn't think that our numbers would be that high almost stock. I was thinking mid fifteens and high fourteens...Some one please tell me if I'm way off base here.

My '99 even with the headers, cold air intake, new spark plugs, and slipping tranny's in the mid-low 15's. Went ahead, saw this thread and did a little timing for myself from a stop on a clear road.

I ran at Infineon Raceway with headers and a AEM V2 and best was 15.771 @ 89.38mph. But I had my sub and amp in the trunk. I ran 3 times and felt I could've reacted better or launched better each time.
