Lightbulb Updating Navigation DVD disc

I was wondering is it possible to burn the navigation dvd from another acura to use in the TL. I tried making a copy of the MDX dvd and popped it in my 2001 TL. Error screen came on. Guessing it doesnt work. Is there anyway around this?

i think i read somewhere that once installed onto a car it renders the DVD unusable again to install anywhere else.

The cars all have different setups and version numbers they are running
The color of the disc is the identifier black orange green and things like version 2.04 is gen2
version 7.0 is mdx

Buy a legit copy from Acura.com
