Ive got a 2001 TL and I want to see if i can put on the underbody skirts for the front, sides, and rear of the ones that come for the 02 or 03 tl-type s if you wanted to add the skirts. can i get those one my 2001...and also where is a good place to buy them. thanks

I understand the 02 / 03 front skirt wont fit 01 the rest of the kit will.

 

The 99-03 all used the SAME side and rear skirts. The 02-03 will NOT fit the 99-01 front and vise versa.

 

With a slight modification the front lip will fit, the rest is plugnplay.

 

anyone done this already to their car that they can tell me where they got it and how much they spent?

 

1. Check the Black Market Frequently (prices start are usually around 5-6 hundred) sometimes less, depending on condition.
2. Check your local Craigslist and Kijiji.
3. Go to the Wings West website and check it out there.
There is another site where the whole kit is around 300 brand new, i dont remember what it is, but people mentioned that the fitment is not as good as the OEM body kit.

the front lip fits very well. its the others that need mod. only problem is that its fiberglass. i personally hav not had any problems so far.

omg...im sorry ...but an 02-03 front lip on a 99-01 looks like total shit

 

fitment looks good.. just looks kinda gay if you ask me.. don't like how part of the 02-03 front lip is covering part of the foglight housing of the 99-01 bumper. you're more better off with the 99-01 oem front lip

 

for the front lip what is the part # cause i cant seem to find it, ( the oem front lip for 99-01)

 

yeah like the one that has the ebay posting above and the pic of the silver tl thats what im looking for. i just got to figure out how much to paint and install and also about side skirts and for the rear. any more information is helpful!

 

the 99-01 IMHO looks like crap with the 02-03 front lip. The lines dont line up right to make it look good.
