I purchased my 03 TL-S with 44,xxx miles. When I hit around 53,xxx miles the original tranny died and I ended up having it replaced with a rebuilt one. Now im approaching 121,xxx miles and im concerned that the life on this one will come to it's end sooner or later since these trannys are a bunch of defective peices of crap.

I want to know if the tranny from the 3rd Gen(j32a3) can be married to the motor of a 2nd Gen Type-S without any significant complication because if this one dies sooner or later I dont want to replace it with another peice of S#!t. (sorry but thats how i feel about these trannys)

Now I know some might ask why not just get a 3rd Gen TL if my Tranny dies but I find that the 2nd Gen body is a classic and happens to be my favorite along with the Legend out of the Acura series.
