Throttle Body bypass valve

Throttle Body bypass valve
Seen something on ebay about a throttle body bypass where it reroutes the fluid through connecting tubes instead of passing it through the throttle body heating it up. Anyone have any experience with this mod or any knowledge?

It's a pretty common mod for those with the thermoblok spacers.
There are two coolant hoses that connect into the throttle body.
Either:
1) Disconnect them from the TB and add a coupler to connect the two pieces of hose together.
2) Remove one of the hoses from the engine block and connect the end of the other end where you disconnected the first one.

Just go out and look. You will see 2 rubber lines that go into the TB. Thats what you want to bypass
just head to your local parts store and get a barbed fitting that you can plug the 2 lines together. You can get them for under 2 bucks.

Three Wheelin'
I have a Nissan Armada and there are some members from Nissan who actually did it and they put a shut off "valve" so that the coolant flow can be controlled. So far, they claim to have some small mpg increase.
One word of caution from the members. If you live in warm areas (such FL or TX), you should not need to be worry about throttle body being freezed out. But if you live in the snowy areas, you don't want to do this mod. When the throttle is freezed, it could get stuck and you have no control of your engine/car. That is why the coolant line is there for.... to maintain the temperature of the throttle body from getting frozen and stuck.
Jyst my $0.02.

What about the coolant inlet on the front of the TB closest to the butterfly? I think you mean take that one and the one on the bottom and connect those 2 right? I'd have to look at my car again, but I believe the only two inlets are in the front and at the bottom not on the side.
