I used night shades before on diffrent cars but once you put it on you can never get it off.

Has anyone used those films and can help me how to put it on. Thanks !

 

A little off topic, but I wonder if these attract extra attention from police. I ask because I am looking to grab 01-03 taillights for my 99. But this would be a lot cheaper. Perhaps I could get a 'softer' tint to be safe?

 

I drove around with blacked out taillights with my nissan maxima, I had reverse light left with no tint so it looks kinda oem LOL. never got pulled over. Besides you have 3rd breaking light.

 

tinted tail lights could be an issue if you get rear ended. insurance might not pay out.

 

Well is there any company that makes aftermarket taillights for our acura's ?

 

unfortunately no. you could either get 02-03 tail lights or do a custom LED retrofit.

I have mine tinted just like that but i had a shop do it professionally so i can't really help with installation advice... but overall i really like it and the light output isnt that bad so the brake lights shouldnt be a problem
