Question Suspension Setup Question (yes I read) : o )

Ok just tell me if this works...

H&R Sport Springs with Tokico Illuminas and ??? Swaybar

I want a soft ride with decent handling... not to stiff

I have a box with two 10's and two amps, navi, capacitor that live back there... I figure when I'm sitting in the front at 210lbs... maybe it balances lol

I'll have to measure, but what do you think? please don't tell me about coilovers... I can't afford and I'm not really trying to race this car... I want a soft smooth cornering ride with little body lean.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I know for sure I want Tokico Illuminas

The springs... I just want to make sure I don't need a camber kit and that it's an even drop with my system and when I'm in the car

The Swaybar... I have no clue who manufactures a great bang for the buck one

and then I'm done... model numbers would be awesome
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I trust and love this forum and I'll take pics when I'm done with everything...

I think your going to need a camber kit regardless. You should at least include the cost of a rear camber kit into your project. The Eibach sport springs will give you a more balanced look/drop, but more then likely require a front camber kit.

The Illuminas are the way to go if you want to adjust from a stiff to a softer ride.

Comptech Sways, there was a group buy on them check the sponsor sales section, with H&R you wont necessarily need a camber kit but with Eibach most definately. You can get most of this stuff in the sponsor section or the black market. I bought all of my mods in the black market.

and which sway bar is good bang for the buck and durable as well?

Comptech sway bars have been on my car for years now and they are holding up well. I got them for like 303 shipped at the time.

H&R Sport *might* require a rear camber kit; in most cases I've seen, it didn't. But you might be one of the unlucky few who might need it. So set aside some cash for that, just in case.

Or if you really really don't want to get a camber kit, then go with the H&R OE Sport springs. The drop won't be as much, but it will still drop the car about an inch. Combine that with the Illuminas and it should be a decently smooth ride. In the corners, the Comptech sway bars should hold you up.

I think this is what I'll do:

-H&R Sport Springs (F-drop.75/R-drop.5)

model# 51858-55

-Tokico Illumina Gas Shocks

F-model# BU3730
R-model# BU2934

-Comptech Swaybar

model# 140-215

Tein H-Techs won't require a camber kit either. Good luck.

I think u meant H&R OE Sports which are the same ones for the 6th gen Accord .75F - .5R the H&R Sports are 1.75F - 1.5R....because of the shorter rod of the tokicos you'll notice it'll be just a little lower than if you ran the springs with stock shocks...

yep u do, front n back...pretty much anything 1"+ drop needs a camber kit....you don't need it, you only need it if you want your tires to last and wear evenly

the sway bar isn't really that necessary. i would do all the suspension set up and see if you like it. the illuminas are the way to go.

i love mine. car rides on rails with some help from my pro kit but you will like em.

that's my setup, H&R 51858 paired w/ Illumina. i have no system so the car sits really evenly all around. since you got some extra weight, as MrAlex said, 50103 of H&R is the way to go...

the ride is very smooth w/ my 18"s yet comfortable w/ shock rate 2 on Rear and 1 on Front....this setup works like a charm! highly recommanded

and no camber kit needed for mine...
