Spring Effects ?

Hello,
I have a quick question. I do not have much money for modding but I was wondering if only changing the springs to lower the car, will it effect the ride (comfort)
Because I read articles that the coil overs do actually effect comfort of the ride.

thanks.

you will only feel a very slight difference in ride with just springs.

Besides set "height of drop", what are other draw backs of only using springs ?

Stock/original shocks arent meant to run lowered springs and wear out faster. If yours are original than i would save up and get a set of shocks to go with the springs. A quality spring and shock combo and the car will ride as good or better than stock.

Go Eibachs Springs + Tokico Struts = Awesome Ride much much Better than the OEM Type-S Combo, My Current Setup.
But for that Money you can Almost get FF1 Coilovers.

OR

Get Coil-Overs FF2 and you Can Setup the Ride to your Taste.

The best spring and shock combo woud be the H&R Sport springs and Koni or Bilstien shocks. They are also going to bethe most expensive shocks but well worth the price.

Another thing to think of if coilovers are on your mind is where you live. If you live in a area that sees winter coilovers may not be for you. The sand and salt used in the winter months can make them un-adjustable anymore in a quick amount of time
