Single-exit exhaust conversion or nah?
Since I saw a video on YouTube of a guy with a 3G TL with Flowmaster Super 10 mufflers at the back, no resonator and no mid-muffler, I thought about doing the same, except doing a left-exit delete, resonator delete, using a Super-10 as the mid, and then a single pipe after the mid instead of the Y-pipe, making the exhaust a lighter and louder single-exit. Good idea or not?
Before you guys ask, I never liked the look of the faux-dual-exhaust once I learned it was one pipe that split into 2 at the ass-end of the car. Plus, no-one else (that I've seem) seems to do a single-exit, and just does an upgraded faux-dual.

I think single exit is supposed to help with low end torque, but not sure how noticeable, if at all, it would be. I used to know a guy who converted his Accord V6 to single exit, it looked nice and sounded good. Can't speak to the power end of things though.
Not sure I've ever seen a single exit on these cars. You could sign up for the RV6 True Dual if you're dead set on having it be functional.

Our XLR8 exhaust splits towards the rear, but we've still seen good power gains from it, and it does make a really unique and brilliant exhaust note!

I have custom single exit exhaust made by King Motorsport. It gained me 7 hp and 7 tq peak over comptech headers with tanabe catback. It also weighs less. Sounds great. Have videos on my youtube channel under my username.
